Chapter 1: Back

It was a dark, winter night. It snowed, covering every rooftop in pure white. Lucy opened the door to her apartment after returning from a job with Natsu, Gray, and Erza. She was tired and worn out. She didn't hesitate to take a bath filled with hot, soapy water besides she was out in the wilderness for three-four days. She walked into her bathroom and closed the door behind before undressing and sliding into her bathtub and relaxing.

"Ah… this is so relaxing…." She said as she dipped her head under the water. She finished about 10 minutes later. As she opened the door there sat a pouting Natsu.

"NATSU! HOW MANY TIMES DID I TELL YOU NOT TO BARGE IN?!" She yelled at him

"Luce… Now's not the time…. Lisanna… she came back."

"Li-lisanna? You're childhood friend?"

"Yeah."

"Well isn't that great! I mean Mirajane and Elfman must be glad and yo—"

"No… It's not great. I'm pretty sure she's going to bring up about that stupid promise we made when we were kids."

"Promise?"

Natsu sighed. "She made me promise to make her my wife when we got older."

*What… Does that mean Lisanna likes him? No. It can't be. She must of forgottened.*

"Don't worry about it Natsu. She must've forgotten." Lucy smiled at him and he smiled back.

"I hope so. If she remembers I blaming it on you for giving me false hope." Natsu opened the room window and started crawling out, "Well I suppose you were going to kick me out so..." Lucy sighed and went to her desk and started writing her story. *I should start writing more. Lisanna she came back huh.* She took her pen and started writing and writing till she started to get tired. She laid her head down and she soon started to drift off to sleep.

-At Fairy Tail-

"Lisanna good to have you back" "Lisanna I missed you." "I thought you were dead Lisanna but look at you all well and alive" Lucy stood there staring at the job request board. *Everything is about Lisanna around here right now. I guess I should do a solo-job*

"Natsu!" Lisanna went up to him and hugged him. "Natsu! It's good to see you! Neh? Do you remember our promise we made?" Natsu smiled awkwardly, "Of course I remember. Haha." Natsu glanced at Lucy but she just turned her head back to the board. "So for starters, want to start dating?" Everyone started shouting and saying stuff. Natsu got angry and started spitting out flames. *Jeez. He's embarrassed by that?* "Hnmmmm." Lucy took a look at the job request she saw.

-Reward: 100,000 Jewels -Reward: 1,000,000 Jewels

Missing Diamond Ring Capture Band of Thieves

"I'm broke right now so I should go for the 1,000,000 Jewels reward." Lucy grabbed the paper and stuffed it into her pockets. "Time to go home and start packing." Lucy turned around to see everyone gather around Natsu and Lisanna. Hurt as she already is, she walked out without anyone knowing and left.
