DISCLAIMER: I don't own this, nor am I making any money from this. It all belongs to Eiichiro Oda and Tomohito Oosaki. This is a fan made translation by yours truly with a lot of help from dictionaries (I know the grammar pretty well, needed help with the vocabulary).
And a big thanks to Black' Victor Cachat for checking this over for me to make sure my English made sense, as sometimes I'd get a little too caught up in translating. Victor also caught a few spots that I had to take a second look at, meaning you got a smoother/better read, so thank Victor.

Okay, so hello and welcome to Straw Hat Stories, as the title translates to English. This is a novel for One Piece made of nine chapters (one per Straw Hat crew member) of the influences of the Straw Hat crew on people they barely, if ever, met told from those outsiders perspectives.
These stories were originally published three at a time in the One Piece Magazine's three volumes, then bound into one book and published on November 2, 2017. Since I was in Japan at the time of release, I bought a copy, and trying to do something nice for the fandom, sat down and translated it all in my free time.
Be understanding about my translation in that I'm not fully fluent in Japanese at the time of this project, but know enough to get by.
As for formatting the novel for here it goes as follows:
The chapter title is first and in bold. This is followed by the one sentence synopsis as given by the cover ribbon in italics.
After all that is the chapter itself. The chapters were further divided into sub-chapters, numbered 1 to whatever, but seeing as they weren't big jumps or anything, I just used the standard fanfiction line break. There were also a couple of spots with extra space between paragraphs which are marked by a centered "o-o-o" since you can't have blank lines here.
Lastly, at the end of the chapters are notes for my translation. They're about word play or why I've decided to use original Japanese or not as that varies from translator to translator.

Thanks for reading this little intro and enjoy the stories!
