A/N: So after procrastinating on this for about a week, I finally got around to posting it. Yay! Hope you like it.

Her name was Mischief. Well, it wasn't really her name; it was just what he called her. It was a nickname.

He had given it to her after their first date, when she had somersaulted over him and grabbed the controller, catching him completely off guard.

He smiled at the memory of that night; it was the best unexpected date he had ever had.

Well, it was the only unexpected date he'd ever had.

But that was beside the point. The real point was that although he had given her the nickname, he hadn't told her about it yet.

He had tried to tell her several times already, but each time, he found himself faltering. Now it was nearing their second date and he had to tell her.

He took a deep breath, walking over to where she sat with Bullseye. "Uh, Jessie?"

"Hi Buzz!" She jumped up, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. "Boy howdy; I sure had fun on our date the other night!"

He couldn't help but smile. "Me too."

She smiled as she plopped down on the ground, Buzz following suit. "I mean, you saying I was the most awesome woman you've ever met was a little awkward at first—"

Buzz coughed. "Uh, yeah. Completely awkward. And uncalled for!"

"But also sweet."

"And also…what?" He stared at her. "I beg your pardon Jessie, but…what did you say it was?"

She giggled as she laid a hand on his arm. "I said it was awkward, but also sweet."

A blush rose up Buzz's cheeks. "Oh."

Jessie took her hand away from his arm, absently stroking Bullseye. "So…what do you have to tell me?"

"Tell you?" He blinked. "How did you…?"

"You have that look."

"What look?"

"That look you get whenever you have something to say."

"I do not have a look!"

She rolled her eyes as she shook her head. "Whatever Astronut."

He smiled. "Is that my nickname?"

"Um…kinda."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

An awkward silence passed between them. Buzz fiddled with the buttons on his Space Suit, coughing awkwardly. "Actually Jessie, speaking of nicknames…" she looked at him expectantly. "Well, um…"

"Come on Buzz; spit it out," she teased.

"Your nickname is Mischief!" he blurted.

"Mischief?" She raised an eyebrow at him. "Where did that—"

"I'm sorry. It was a stupid nickname. I should go."

Jessie rolled her eyes as she got up to follow him. "Buzz—"

"No Jessie, I—"

She grabbed his hand. "Would you stop being so sensitive?"

"Hey now, I'm—" his words were cut off as she kissed him. He blinked at her as she pulled away.

"I asked where you got the nickname; I didn't say I didn't like it." A soft look came into her eyes. "No one's ever given me a nickname before."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Not even Emily…" she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Jessie—"

"What?"

"I'm sorry about Emily."

"It's okay." Her face brightened. "So…where'd you come up with it?"

"Come up with what?"

She punched him playfully on the shoulder. "The nickname, Astronut."

"Oh. That. Well…" he rubbed his the back of his neck. "It was…um…after you stole the controller from me the other night."

She looked at him. "Really?"

"Yes. You're so bright and bubbly and mischievous…"

"Go on."

"Um…no, that's it. Not that I don't like other things about you, it's—"

She giggled softly. "It's okay Buzz; I know." She laid her head back down on his shoulder, sighing contentedly. "Hey Buzz?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for the nickname."

"Anything for you Mischief."
