Hey! This was from a really old drama project and I found it while I was organizing files on my computer. I'm sorry that the rhyming is terrible, but enjoy anyways.
Hey America, you may think you're better, but listen here, just listen to this letter,
You Americans, with stereotypes so cute, you think we care but we just give you the mute.
You have a bill, we have the metal, our money is real; the Loonie is where we settle,
We brave the cold, the ice and snow what's that? Of course you wouldn't know,
We've got the smarts, we've got the brave hearts,
You've got the debt, on so big no one will forget,
Hey America, we've got the sports, basketball and hockey and the real balling courts,
When we get injured, we get the free health care, when you get injured, then you get a scare,
We got cool animals like the polar bear, they're big and white but you probably don't care,
Your country causes all the trouble, you're turning the world into rubble,
Hey America, what's your crime rate, ours, well let's just say it's great,
Livin' in a province, not a state, we got the love, not the hate,
Hey America, you think we live in the snow, does it look like we're livin' on a 500ft plateau?
All the money you spend on war, to your debt you're adding more
Soon enough, you'll be the past, it's our country that will surpass
Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Superior and Erie, you are all just so jealous 'cause we're so cheery,
You have a McDonalds on every street, it's probably all you'll ever eat,
Hey America, even though we got the polar bear, we're still a bit jealous, you got the fresh prince of bell-air,
We have the rockies, so big and tall, you want them, so you ball
Our government is the best, but yours is really stressed,
Canadians are better, to you we say whatever,
You may be the strongest but surely, we'll last the longest
