Authors Note/Disclaimer: Hi ALL!! Welcome to my DG/Glitch fanfic. This story is based on a scene from a book I had read, that just clicked in my mind as a perfect DG/Glitch moment. I would be so grateful for any reviews and advice for future writings XD I look forward to hearing from ya'll! I do NOT own Tin Man or Glitch (darn it!!) but I can dream! Now, ONWARD WITH THE STORY!!!!
X.x.X.x.X
Ugh. I hate morning. Those first rays of light a constant reminder of my weakness. It was absolutely awful, living with my shame. I glared at the sunshine that filtered into the bedroom. A heavy arm tightened around my waist. I sighed, snuggling back against the warm body.
"Mmm…morning doll. " Glitch ran his lips against my ear, fingers drumming gently along my ribcage. I stifled a giggle. I loved this man. It still is mind boggling to me. Who would have thought!?
He knew my secret and often teased me for it. I pulled the duvet higher up on my chest. He laughed his breath hot on my neck.
"I should feel put out that you're still so shy in the morning Deej." I squirmed as his fingers wove intricate patterns along my flesh, giving me goose bumps.
"If I didn't know better, I would call you a prude." I scowled. A prude! I turned and glared at him right in the eye.
"I'm not a prude!" I growled. "I'm modest and…and…discreet!" I fought his questing hand that tugged at the blanket. Glitch shook his head, chocolate eyes sparkled with mischief. Uh-oh.
"Discreet?" he questioned, continuing the tug of war. "Was it discreet when we first admitted our feelings and ended up on the rug in my salon?" Oh hell, why did he have to bring that up? I blushed down past the line of the blanket. I sat up against the headboard, the blanket clutched in my white-knuckled grip.
"Hey now! I didn't hear YOU complaining!" I argued. He switched tactics. One hand snaked its way under the duvet, grabbed and pulled. I clung on for dear life!
"Or how about a couple nights ago when you came into the lab, wrapped your legs around my waist, saying you had an idea on how to clean my work table. You call THAT discreet?" I sputtered. I swear that the room's temp went up ten degrees.
I felt his fingers grazing my belly and bit my tongue to keep from laughing. He leaned in close.
"Or how about last night when I found you in only my coat and smile and we-" I clamped a hand over his mouth. I knew what we did. Drat the man and his memory! The consequences of Glitch having his whole brain again!
"Ok, those are different circumstances, things done in the heat of the moment take on a different hue in the cold morning light…so you can't…" I trailed off when I realized he wasn't listening, and looked down. His hands were on my torso, my bare torso.
The smile on his face was so childish in its delight that I threw caution to the wind.
"Ah to hell with it!" I dragged him down with me, modesty be damned.
Needless to say we missed both breakfast and lunch.
The End
