"Jason," Peter curled up closer to his boyfriend. "Do you ever think about what comes next?"
Jason frowned. "You mean like senior year?"
Peter smiled. "No, I mean like what happens to us. What we do next. Once we graduate, we're free. And then what?"
"We go to college," Jason said. He sighed. "Can we talk about this in the morning? It's late."
"But what comes after college?" Peter sat up. "This is important, Jason."
Jason sat up too, gently wrapping his arms around Peter. "We'll be alright as long as we're together. Now let's get some sleep."
Peter shoved his arms away. "I want to talk about this, Jason. About us."
Jason sighed again. "Look, somewhere. There's a place for us. We'll find it. California, maybe. Or New York City. You've always wanted to go to New York," he said soothingly.
Peter nodded. "We could get a cute little apartment in Manhattan. And we could walk everywhere. And see a bunch of Broadway shows. We could have a little dog. I've always wanted a dog..." he laid back down.
Jason wrapped his arms around Peter again. "Or maybe a nice place in the country. Peace and quiet and open air. Just you and me. Forever."
Peter nodded again. "Forever," he yawned. "I love you, Jason."
Jason kissed Peter on the forehead. "Good night."
