"Would you like one?"
L's voice cut through Raito's concentration. He glanced at the raven-haired boy, to see him pop a sugar-covered strawberry into his mouth.
Raito turned back to the computer screen before him.
"Would you like one?" L offered again.
"It's not like you to share your sweets," Raito commented, not looking from the screen.
"Strawberries are not all that sweet, really," said L, as he dipped another strawberry into the container of sugar in front of him before placing it between his lips.
Raito turned to L, "Fine then, I'll have one", only to feel a soft pair of lips brush his and a pair of shadowed eyes that seemed, for some reason, entirely too close. It wasn't until L pulled back that Raito realized he had half a strawberry in his mouth.
L cocked his head to one side and studied the other boy intently as Raito cleared his throat, turned back to the computer, and began to type once more.
"Y'know, Raito-kun," L said slowly as he licked a bit of strawberry-stained sugar from his thumb, "I do believe I've found something sweeter than sugar."

Note: This is my first Death Note writing, not to mention my first public fic post. I hope I have not accidently copied anyone elses fic (please let me know if I have). I hope everything flows well and I havn't gone TOO OOC (I tend to do that).
