Canada sighed annoyed as he slammed the door to his house kicking off his shoes. He had just gotten home from visiting America and they had gotten into another argument over something completely stupid. Come to think of it he couldn't really remember what had started the fight. All he knew was it ended with another one of his big lectures and America yelling right back at him. He sighed again looking at his feet now starting to feel bad. He pulled out his cell phone to call America and tell him that he was sorry but he couldn't remember what exactly it was about. He also for some odd reason had the feeling it was all America's fault and that he should have been the one to apologize. Starting to get irritated again he decided to send a text saying let me know when you are ready to apologize. After the text was sent he then slipped his phone back into his pocket and went to the living room plopping down on the couch next to his polar bear giving out an irritated sigh. Kumajiro looked up at him from his spot on the couch. The bear then got up and crawled into the Canadian's lap falling asleep almost instantly. Canada pets Kumajiro as he laid his head back against the couch. He stared at the ceiling for a few seconds before closing his eyes and muttering "Maybe I should haven't have sent that text to him and just called him instead"
"Who?"
A bit shocked Canada looked at his bear who was now staring at him. Wasn't he just asleep? He then sighed and answered the bear with his normal response. "I'm Canada…..your owner"
"no. who are you talking about?"
Blinking in surprise and confusion that his bear wasn't asking who to he was for once. Canada smiling nervously and rubbed the back of his head before sighing and said "oh uh I was talking about America"
"oh…why would you call him?"
Sighing he rolled his eye like it should be obvious to the bear why he was upset with his brother. "cause we got into another fight and he probably hates me now" he sat up and pulled Kumajiro close to him curling up his legs a bit but making sure he wasn't hurting his little bear at the same time. Getting into a fight with his brother always made him feel bad sense he always seemed to hurt him even though half the stuff he was saying was true. But still he thought his brother deserved his yelling but as the same time hopped America didn't hate him. He never wanted his brother to hate him.
Kumajiro looked up at his owner adjusting to the new position he was in. "I highly doubt that but I'm hungry"
Rolling his eyes at his bears remark about being hungry he set kumajiro down next to him then got up heading to the kitchen. As he spoke he noticed Kuma following him."you really think so kumakichi?"
Kumajrio shrugged following behind his owner "sure"
Walking into the kitchen Matthew went over to the fridge pulling out some fresh fish he had picked up before going to over to his brother's place. After he gave kumajiji his food he heard a growling sound. He looked around startled before realizing that it was his own stomach. He then decided to make himself some pancakes sense he hadn't eaten since he left his brother's place. Once the pancake were done he brought them over to the table setting them down on it. He then walked over to the cupboards grabbing a bottle of maple syrup from one then went to sit down. He then poured the syrup all over his pancakes and begun eating letting his thoughts wander as he ate. He realized how quiet it was without his brothers loud obnoxiousness. As he thought about it the more he realized how much he missed his brother and how alone he really felt being being by himself. He then thought about calling again but shook his head out remembering that Al was the one that needed to apologise.
When he was done eating he washed off his plate then put it away. He stretched and looked at the time which read 9:30pm. "Well guess i should be going to bed. I mean there's a meeting tomorrow and I don't want to be late. I can talk to America after the meeting or I'm sure he will call when he calms down" Canada was talking mostly himself out loud like he usually did sense no one was around to hear him. It was a subconscious thing he did to make him seem less alone than he felt. He yawned suddenly feeling the weight of that day takes it's toll then headed upstairs. He got ready for bed then crawled into bed. He set his glasses down on the nightstand along with his cellphone, which he had checked to see if he had anything. There was nothing which he expected but hopped wasn't the case. He yawned again and pulled the covers over him closing his eyes soon falling asleep.
America had grumbled to himself after Canada had left. He went and sat down on the couch next to his alien friend, Tony. He turned on his game console and grabbed a controller. He always would start planning video games to help calm himself down and keep his mind from wandering too much. After a few hours of playing he had finally gotten a game over. He sighed and set the controller down next to him on the couch. He stood up and stretched before he yawned having completely forgotten about the fight he and his brother had had just a few hours ago. He took out his phone to see what time it was and blinked seeing three new text messages. He noticed that one was from England which was just a very rude reminder about the meeting tomorrow. He rolled his eyes before responding with haha dude don't worry! I won't forget! Why? Cause I'm the hero! He than looked at he other two texts which were from the same person: his brother. He Blinked when he noticed the first one was the text that Canada said he had texted him which started their whole fight .He sighed now remembering their fight hanging his head feeling bad now. His brother was right yet again. Though it wasn't his fault! He never heard his phone go off once! At least he didn't think he did. Ugh now he couldn't remember. He looked at the next text to try keeping himself from getting worked up again only to sigh going back to feeling bad. He looked over at his buddy Tony "hey. Tony dude. You think I should call Canada and you know. Apologize or something." he pouted a bit not really wanting to but he also didn't want Canada to stay mad at him over something as stupid as not getting a text. He groaned as Tony had just shrugged and picked up the game controler starting to pick up where America had left off on.
America decided to call and just get it over with. He dialed Canada's number not even bothering to look at the time. He wouldn't admit he was nervous about what he would say exactly. He didn't want to say something stupid and end up making things already worse than they already were. He listened to the ringing then blinked as it went straight to voicemail bring himself out of his thoughts. That was strange. Obviously his phone was on sense it rang. Matthew must have been angrier than he thought. He sighed discouraged thinking that his phone call must have been ignore and hug up muttering "guess he really doesn't want to talk with me. Oh well I'll just catch him after the meeting and confront him about it cause no one can stay mad at the hero!" he smiled striking a heroic pose. He did so to try and cheer himself up cause once his mind was made up he would only focus on that. After making sure that the plan was good in his head he went to his room. He yawned as he entered his room then got ready for bed. He took his glasses off and set them on the nightstand. He then laid down and was asleep within seconds.
Canada moved around in his bed and sighed sitting up. He suddenly couldn't sleep and glanced over at the clock which read 6:45am. He sighed sense he didn't have to be up for at least another two hours. He groan then suddenly froze at he got the feeling like he was being watched. He glanced around the room slowly then froze when he noticed a pair of red eyes looking at him. He gulped a bit before asking "w-who's there?" There was the sound of a small chuckle as Canada started to be able to make out a male figure walking over to him.
