Time and time again you lift my spirits
just to let them crash down.
Maybe it's my fault for believing you.
For being naïve and gullible
Being blinded by love was something I couldn't help.
But you took advantage of my feelings
And saw her behind my back.
You don't care if it hurts me
You only care about yourself.
You never loved me
Or if you did you have a funny way of showing it.
I just wish that you
Would give me half the respect I gave you.
The shikon jewel isn't complete
And with this pain in my heart
I don't know if I can go on
So maybe you and Kikyo will be together
And I'll go home.
Maybe…
But that would be giving up
And I'm no quitter.
Maybe my heart will heal
Or maybe I'll never see you again.
Who knows?
