The sisters had left me on the river bank as I healed. I didn't mind it was very peaceful, more than even my whole life time offered me in my time. The sun shone in my face and I couldn't be bothered to move. Except I got an itch, and it wouldn't go away. I needed to move! But in which direction? There was many ways open to me. I decided what I had done for my whole life; to just let my feet walk on their own.

As I walked through Avalon, again I was amazed at it's glorious beauty. I was glad I resided here, a beautiful eternity. Yet without him my brain thought. I quickly dismissed the thought and pushed the trees aside. That itch wouldn't go away and I sighed frustrated. Suddenly I knew why I had it.

Merlin was lying on his back, completely shirtless, the rays was reflecting off his pale skin. 'Are you going to stand there for the rest of eternity? Or are you going to sit down?' I heard the idiot ask. I laughed and shrugged sitting down beside him. He looked as I remembered him when we was young. Carefree and happy, not forgetting that ridiculous neck scarf. 'I was thinking of standing but...' I sighed happily.

My head had found it's way onto his chest and he sighed. We were home, we were together. 'You look so young Arthur, like when we was teenagers' Merlin informed me. 'So are you Merlin' I whispered trailing my hands up his chest. He shivered and I kissed the bit of skin I was lying on.

'I missed you Merlin' I mumbled, and dear god I had missed him. For over 20 years he had been purely alone in his thoughts. He always told Merlin everything. 'I missed you too Arthur, more with every second that passed' Merlin reassured. I was, I knew he missed me as much as I missed him.

I wrapped my arms around the warlock's waist. 'I love you Arthur' he whispered. I smiled 'I love you too Merlin, never doubt that' I replied hugging him tightly.

I did this in like 10 minutes so if it's crap tell me!
