It was bright outside in Camp Half Blood, the sun beaming down on all the campers and birds were flying ahead. Leo was actually awake that morning and not cooped up in the Hephaestus cabin on Bunk 9. He was sitting with the seven and Lou Ellen, Will and Cecil, waiting for a certain pale Italian to make his presence known. He soon spotted Nico making his way towards the group but something seemed a bit off about his boyfriend. He was less doom and gloom than usually. Instead of his usually all black attire he wore a grey t-shirt , white jeans and grey converse to match with signature aviator jacket tied around his waist. A grey beanie covered his jet black mop of hair and a chain belt hung down from the loops in his jeans. Everyone in the dinning are stopped all there chatter and stared right at the son of Hades. His wardrobe wasn't the only thing that changed. His hands were in his jeans pockets and he walked leisurely towards the rest group whilst whistling a soft tune that was barely audible by the rest of the group.
When got his food and took his seat everyone was staring at him as though he grew an extra head. " What?" Nico questioned. " What happened?" Percy was the first one to question Nico's attitude. " What I cant change my appearance for one day. Gods your acting like I just grew a second head or something." he replied snarkily. "Well I think it looks great." Leo smile d up at him and kissed him on the cheek. He flushed and continued eating. After we finished eating Leo decided to take his boyfriend for a walk on the lake. The were walking hand in hand when Leo heard a marvolous melody. He turned towards the small italian that was walking next to him and sure enough that was were the soft melody was coming from.
" Zip- a-dee-do-dah, Zip-a=dee-day, my oh, my its a wonderful day." Nico sang softly. The melody way simple and sweet and Leo couldn't get enough of it.
"Mister bluebird on my shoulder, it's the truth, it's actual, everything is satisfactual " he sang softly. Leo watched as the teen sang the wonderful song. When Nico was finished he looked over to him and saw that the boy was staring. He flushed under his gaze.
" Nico, What song were you singing?" Leo asked. " It's a Disney song from Song of the South." He replied.
"That's funny, I've never heard of it"
" That's because it is from the forties. I used to watch it with Bianca all the time. It's kinda the reason I'm so happy today. Maybe ill watch it with you someday." Nico smiled up at his boyfriend.
"Maybe." Leo smiled at him too and pecked his cheek. The continued their stroll on the lakeside. It was a truly wonderful day.
