Prolog

We were at Caitlyn's

I looked at her. That was one of the moments where we were alone and undisturbed. I had to tell her. It was time. For years I had to live like this. I Love Caitlyn. Even if I'm married to Tryndamere. Now it must be told.

"Caitlyn?" I asked carefully. "Yes?", she answered me. "I had to tell you something…", I stocked. "What's the matter, honey", she asked unsure. The fact that she called me "honey" made my smile. And it gave me hope and security. Security and hope, that, maybe, she would feel the same way like me. I was lost in my thought, I didn't even realized the wafting Hand in front of my face. "Ashe? Are you here?", she asked anxiously. Now or never. "I Love you, Caitlyn!", it bursted out of me. "WHAT?!", she asked loudly, sounded shocked.

Finally it was said. In the next moment I thought to myself: I've ruined everything. She doesn't love me" It's over now.

"Forget it, Caitlyn. I should've never told you", I uttered.

Silence.

After a few minutes Caitlyn suddenly said: "How long do you love me?" "Since the first day we've met…" "That was five years ago?!" "I know…" "How? And what's with Tryndamere?", she added. "Sit down, it'll take a while…", I said and we sat down at the table. "So… It all began 5 years ago…"
