Poem. Rinne, sitting in the deserted clubhouse, thinks of how his life has changed with the loss of his grandfather. Kind of based on things out of chapter 7.

Midnight Watch

Alone in the dark
he watches the candle flame
flicker like waves --
Grandfather swimming away,
Rose takes form while Granny plots.

Who watches the boy
staring into the midnight?
No ghost comes to close,
only memory's shadows
And a small black cat scheming.
