"What, no balloons?" Tony asked.

Gibbs was the first to reach him. Placing both hands on Tony's shoulders, he finally gave in to the relief he felt that Tony was still here, standing in front of him, living and breathing. "Thank God! Thank God you're back!" He moved one hand to Tony's face. "It's good to see you, son," he said softly. "You're not injured, are you? Do we need to call Ducky?"

"No, I'm good, Boss," Tony told him, surprised and a little thrilled at Gibbs' use of the word 'son'. "Not a scratch. Obviously, it wasn't me in the car." With a nod, Gibbs stepped back to let the others approach.

"We knew that an hour ago," Tim said, clapping Tony on the shoulder. "The autopsy. Ducky confirmed it wasn't you." Tim smiled. "But it's good to see you back where you belong. I don't want to lose another teammate, or another friend." Tim's smile got bigger when Tony reached up to pat his hand.

"Indeed," Ziva said, stepping forward to give her partner a hug. "Although we knew it was not you in the car, we were unsure of your whereabouts." She smiled in relief. "Now that you are back, our team is complete again." Tony returned the hug, feeling much better than he had just a little bit ago.

"Agent DiNozzo, I'm glad you're all right," Director Shepard said. "Take some time to catch your breath. You and Agent Gibbs report to my office in thirty minutes for a debriefing on today's events." She started to walk away, but turned around and laid a hand on Tony's arm. "It's very good to see you, Tony." With that, she turned and walked away.

As she did, Tony was surrounded by other agents on the floor. All shaking his hand or clapping him on the back and shoulder. All expressing their relief and happiness that he was okay. Tony knew that his emotions would be on a roller coaster today, but right now, seeing the reactions to his being alive, Tony felt on top of the world! He looked over at Gibbs. And was rewarded with the biggest smile he'd ever seen on the older man's face. And Tony knew that eventually, everything was going to be okay.
