"Not bad", said Caius coolly, growing tired from the battle that went on for hours and maybe hours to come. He had layed on the sandy beach of Valhalla, panting from exhaustion with Ragnarok (his sword) laying by his side, his silky, long purple hair blew in the wind. He was complementing his beautiful, fated rival, Lightning, or as he mostly called, "Warrior goddess", on her battle skills. He turned to see her laying two feet away from him, her silky, pink hair blowing in the wind as well. "Yeah, sure", she huffed, exhausted as well. "What's the score this time", he said with a smirk on his face. Lightning sighed as she though how childish they were being, turning their important battles into a competition. "It depends, who fell out first?" "Well it definitely wasn't me", Caius said quickly. "Was too, was not, was too, was not", they argued back and forth. Surprised at their behavior, they let out a small laugh. They would be fated rivals for eternity, fighting non-stop at full force to no end, but today... they stopped things early, for they were truely tired and did NOT want to battle it out any longer today. As they got up from the ground, Caius returned his sword to his back, slightly smirking again, "Same time tomorrow"? Lightning met his gaze then saw his smirk that always ticked her off, "Yeah...", she said annoyed. On that note, Caius turned to walk away, disappearing in the distance. Lightning goes back to her room at Etro's palace and plopped right on her bed. You could say she was out as fast as... lightning. (In Oreba, Caius was dead sleep as well, along side Yeul.)
