This story is in the P.O.V of Katarina. However, there are a few scenes where I swap P.O.V's. Also, I write the way I would expect the characters to write, so it will obviously be different to the way you expect the characters to act. Anyway, enjoy the story :)

I landed with a loud thump on the floor, and heard Caitlyn's footsteps as she walked around me.

"It's funny to see you like this. Evelynn forgot to mention how easily hurt you get."

"This isn't... exactly..." I had to force the words out through my inhales and gasps. The poison was quickly spreading, and I didn't have much time. "Please, Caitlyn. I know you..." I coughed. "You don't wanna do this. I have to speak to Yi. Ma-Master Yi."

"Ha. Don't make me laugh, Katarina."

I tried my hardest to get up. It barely worked but I managed to sit up so I could face her directly.

"I have to find Talon. You know it's inevitable."

"Everything always is! Kat, I trusted you. I really did."

"You're still blaming me, aren't you? You knew Evelynn would find any reason to hand me over to Shaco!"

"I couldn't help myself. It was just too tempting." She grinned at me. "When I found out you were after the Lordstone, I knew I had to tell Evelynn. You know it's rightfully her's."

"That doesn't mean she would use it for good." I coughed once more. "You and I both know she's using it for the wrong reasons."

Silence. For once, Caitlyn agreed with me.

That was when I realise how desperate I was for for the Lordstone. How was I supposed to explain to Talon that Evelynn had run away with it? I needed to get out of there... and from my expression, Caitlyn read my mind.

"Look, Katarina, I respect you enough to understand you. You may be right, but even then, I can't help you escape."

"You can, if you want to. All you have to do is rip the chains off the walls." I looked at her. Please? I mouthed. Her defeated smile gave me the answer I wanted, as she quickly tip-toed over to the wall. She swiftly broke the chains and then untied me.

"You owe me, Katarina." I smiled at her and then looked at her sincerely. "Also, take it easy. The posion is still in your system. It should take a few hours to disappear. Here," She walked over to a cupboard and returned holding a bottle. "Drink this. It'll help you feel better."

"Thank you." I replied as she nodded and watched me sprint out of the huge brown doors of the dungeons, and then disappear into the mist.
