~Trapped~

I'm trapped,
I'll just have to adapt.
I laugh at the accusations,
What have a got to lose? I've lost the patience.

I've lost my best friends,
For something I did not do, I want to make amends.
To Azkaban I am sentenced, though I am innocent,
Sent there for my mind to rot, completely bent.

But I do not warp, I am saved by my ways,
Since I didn't do the crime, I am saved for days.
One thought kept me going after I saw the page later,
"He's at Hogwarts," there was the traitor!

People were mistaken, they thought I meant my Godson,
But I would never hurt him, not even stun.
I had an idea, and idea to escape,
I transformed into my animagus dog, and fit through the gape.

"I'm free!" I thought, I finally made it out,
Now to get Pettigrew and convince Harry without doubt.
Things went as planned, a godson I claimed,
I was blamed, framed, hatred in my name, and shamed.

I did my best to protect him while I was at Grimmauld Place,
Trying to forget the horrible Azkaban: I did erase.
I felt trapped, I could not do anything to help the Order,
I felt I was doing everything repetetive; like a skipping tape recorder.

I'm trapped, with nothing to do,
I'm trapped, I could not help you.
And as I watch your anguished screams and watch you flail,
I plead with my eyes, as I fall in the veil.

I'm in a better place; I am more at ease,
I no longer have nightmares of the Dementor's freeze.
But I long for you, Harry, with the green eyes and messy dark hair,
I will wait for the Stone, until then, I do not dare.
