Though I doubt you'll ever know

By Megan Garlette

I will always be apart of you,

Always the final piece to make you whole,

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

You never knew of the love you found,

You never showed any in return.

You destroyed my hopes, my dreams, my soul.

You destroyed my heart.

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

The tears I cried, the emotions that died, all because of you.

I gave up everything,

You gave up nothing.

It was my heart that you slew.

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

You make my whole,

You fill the void,

You bring it all together.

But you never cared, or you never dared.

Your emotionless state murdered my soul.

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

Just a day with you, just to tell you the truth.

It was enough to break down my walls,

Enough to push me, making me fall.

Too bad it lasted only a day, too bad you never returned the calls,

Too bad you left me with only ruins for walls.

You stalled before you left

You tried to explain.

You just made it harder to bear.

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

My life was ruined that day.

My heart broken beyond repair, my body doubled over in despair.

All because I loved you,

All because I let it show

Shamed and betrayed I wish to let go.

Though I doubt you'll ever know.

Though I doubt you'd even care.

A/n- if anyone read this, yes, it might be used in Kellyanne' s story. This is a pathetic excuse for a poem, no matter, tell me what you think.
