Hello! If you don't know me I'm Errica, and I write fanfiction stories, this is NOT my first fanfic, and I'm a super huge harry potter fanatic so this is a story I had in my heart for a while and I really wanted to bring it to life, so here goes!
*Important author note at end!*
Beginning
The station was filled with the sounds of children laughing. They talked with friends and wheeled in their suitcases to the train all while saying goodbye to loved ones. A particular little boy sat, swinging his legs, on his large suitcase, next to it a cage that contained a snowy white owl with black freckles. The little boy grimaced as the train whistle gave its two minute warning to all boarding passengers and family, he grabbed his collar with two fingers fidgeting immensely. By the look of his fresh luggage tags and new clothes (not to mention his small size) one could only guess that he was a first year. A nervous first year. A tall man in a dark brown coat steps over to the boy, squatting down to give him a pep talk, by the look of the boy he had on other sibling, a sister; she was talking to another girl a year older than she, when a broad of children swarmed from behind them, playing and screaming while a blonde haired women calmed them down and shoved them onto the train, one poked her head and motioned for the little boy to board.
The father in the brown jacket smiled warmly and then motioned the boy towards the train, he got off his trunk, grabbed it and clambered onto the train after the others. The father never looked happier in his pride, the warm smile and crinkles in his eyes hid the years of worry, fear, nightmares, and deaths he had seen. Next to him a ginger-haired women took his side and placed her hand on his chest, her eyes beginning to tear up and she buried her face in the man's shoulder before waving goodbye to her children on the train.
Nearby hunched behind a brick wall of the station sat a girl of ebony hair, age 14. She watched the train pull out and the father of the little boy ready to leave the station when he heard a sound and turned around in the girl's direction. She held her breath, astonished that he didn't see her through the prescription lenses, encased in circular black frames. When he turned away and left, the girl heaved out a sigh and looked in the direction of the train, she saw in all its beauty, red and black far in the distance… and just like that the train was gone. Tears streamed down her face one by one and then all at once until she began to sob softly into her sleeve. Blinking through the tears she looked up and wiped her eyes. Someday… she would be on that train, living out her own dreams, and she wouldn't be scared or nervous. She wouldn't even be weak.
Hey guys, did that make you cry? Hope it did! Jk! But I hope you like it! Summary didn't say all that I wanted it too, but it's basically a story about *SPOILER ALERT* Snape's niece, who nobody previously thought was existent until Albus finds her in the great hall wandering about years after this beginning scene, she's been learning magic and she's finally ready to take on Hogwarts and its' students head on!
Also important, what should I name her? I've been trying to think up a good name for the niece of Snape and well… I thought perhaps if any of you would care to pitch in and come up with a name, I'll pick from the top five and I'll let you guys vote if I get enough replies or suggestions so yeah, thank you so much and I'll see you guys Friday!
