A very short vignette in which Fiona observes Michael while he sleeps. Enjoy!

There were times in Fiona Glenanne's life when she felt alone. After her sister died and after Michael left her for the first time were the worst. During those times, she wanted to curl up under her blankets and never come out again, despite her nature to fight.
But lately, those feelings of loneliness were few and far between. And she suspected it had something to do with the man sleeping beside her.
Outside, thunder rumbled lowly in the distance, and a brief flash of lightning lit up the loft.
Beside her, Michael turned in his sleep and reached out, resting a hand on Fiona's abdomen. She smiled and placed her hand over his, her fingers curling gently around his.
Ever since she found Michael again, she wasn't as lonely as she used to be.
Rolling onto her side to face Michael, she settled down again and tucked her arm under her head. She could hear the rain beating against the window, and it was oddly soothing.
It rained a lot in Ireland, but she never paid much attention to it. She was always getting into trouble as a youth, and when she was older, she was too busy causing mayhem and taking strangers to bed to appreciate something as small as the rain.
With Michael, she was learning to do that.
Being with Michael had showed her a lot of things, and taught her even more. There were times when she felt like she hated him, but she knew in her heart that she could never live without him.
Still sleeping deeply, Michael curled his arm around Fiona and pulled her snugly against his chest. Then he settled down again, a soft smile playing across his handsome face.
Fiona smiled and draped her arm over Michael. In their worst fights, in the moments when she honestly thought she would leave, she still loved him. Even when he left her asleep in their bed in Ireland, and she had thought she'd never see him again, she still loved him. But her mother always told her that when a couple could go through these things and still love each other, they were meant to be. And Fiona knew she was meant to be with Michael. Just as she had told Jesse, she had stayed knowing that for better or worse would mostly mean for worse, and she would rather die with him than ever live without him.
"What are you thinking about?" Michael's sleepy voice permeated her thoughts, and she looked at him with a smirk. He hadn't even bothered opening his eyes.
"Nothing in particular."
He slid his large hand under the t-shirt she was wearing (that she had borrowed from him.) "Really?"
"Mm hmm…" A soft moan escaped her lips when his fingertips teased her breast.
Grinning wickedly, Michael rolled onto his back, pulling Fiona with him. She settled on top of him, and he rested his hands lightly on her hips. He wasn't sure what she was thinking about that had her awake in the middle of the night, but he wasn't going to complain. Especially now. Suddenly he sat up, wrapping his arms firmly around his beautiful girlfriend.
Their lips met, and Fiona ran her hand through Michael's hair. Before Michael, she was lost and lonely. But now that she had him, even though their relationship was far from perfect, she felt…complete.
She had him.
The End.
A/N: Aww, I love my Fiona and Mikey. Hehehe. I would like to take a second to let everyone know that I'm working on my very first full length Burn Notice story, titled Unforgettable You. I'm pretty excited about it, and if anyone would like to know more (or toss in their two cents) message me! Thanks for reading, and please review!
