A Kitty Fixes Everything
O.k. I haven't seen the COS Movie; or the all of the Anime. So really for me it's; "What if Al was human again"
Basically; Al's human again and he an Ed share a kinda fluffy moment. There's a reference from episode 6 towards the end, can you spot it?
I don't own Fullmetal Alchemist or the Characters.
"Allll. Let's go home already the rain isn't going to let up anytime soon", the short blonde huffed, a damp box resting in his arms.
"But what if there are more cats around? Its raining and we already found one, Brother", he didn't turn around to address his older sibling, the taller teen simply keeping his eyes peeled to the road.
"Where do you plan to keep them Al? We are not taking them home", he spat back. His eyes were narrowed and clearly he was starting to get pissed, "You're not a huge tin can anymore to keep them inside of you"
"We can take them to the shelter. Or to Central, maybe Hayate would like a playmate…", he shrugged, clearly more focused on trying to find other possible outcasts.
"Damn It Al! You have a Cat fetish. Let's go home. We're soaked to the bone. I don't need to get sick. That's right; you probably don't recall what a cold feels like!", suddenly his expression softened, wheat eyes slowly filling with pain.
The two of them came to a halt, the rain till splattering around them. Slowly Ed set the box down on the curb, turning with his hands raised. "I'll see you at home Alphonse", and slowly he began back down the street towards the Auto mail shop.
"Ed…", he whispered; gaze fixated on his brothers back. He snapped back to the curb, noticing the box was tipped, an orange blur darting away into the alley. "…", he frowned turning back to the road.
"Ed! Wait up Brother!", he called, starting to run to catch up. He frowned further as his brother didn't listen to him, and he began to pump faster. A rather large puddle caught him off guard, and he slid through it, quickly squeezing his eyes shut. 'I can feel pain now…', he bleakly thought. He collided hard with the cement and almost instantly Alphonse was being lifted to his feet. He blinked slowly, mud caking most of his fleshy face, stinging his eyes.
"Al! You idiot! You could have broken something! Then I'd have to carry you back of all things", he huffed as he wiped the thick coating of mud off of his brothers face, "…You O.k.?"
"Hai. Sorry Brother, Stubborn-ness is your thing", he nodded slowly. His brothers' hand stung as it grazed his check, blood dribbling in with the mud. How do you explain a skinned cheek without being laughed at?
"Come On. Let's get you home"
Al smiled as once again his brothers' tone became huffy with embarrassment, "Sorry… I probably scared you Brother"
"It's fine", he turned around, "Why are you walking so slow? Let's get out of this god damned rain already. Did you hurt your leg too, like your pride?"
His face became pained and he took two long strides, coming into his brothers' embrace.
"….!?", but the blonde didn't push him away.
"I'm Sorry Brother. I probably scared you. And I do have a cat fetish, and I am an Idiot, and I was hoping you'd give in for once, and I was stubborn and I know you care for me either way, and I know you don't want me to get sick so you wont have a chance to lose me", he gripped tighter onto his brothers soaked coat; burring his head deeper so his words became less audible, "But I'm happy to be able to feel your touch again…. Warmth again too…."
"It's O.k. Al", He gave his brother a warm pat on the head, "You were always the cry baby you know"
The younger boy gave a small smile, letting the Fullmetal alchemist go, slowly starting back towards the Pinako residence. The shorter one gave a little smile as well, taking a few longer strides to be walking beside his brother.
