The Remains of the front yard
Master hand looked upon the damage that had been inflicted in recent, unexpected, and very savage attack by the subspace army. There were massive holes in the lawn, bones scattered all over the front lawn, and a larger than normal undetonated subspace bomb were the fountain used to be. The smash mansion itself was full of holes and was barely standing.
Worst of all were the impact it had on the smash brothers themselves. During the fighting subspace forces had opened a portal to a distant universe and sucked most of the fighters in. Now only Pit, Mario, Kirby, the three fighting teams, Crazy Hand, and Master Hand himself remained. He would have to track down all the others in the other universe and bring them back together.
Mario looked to master hand "So what do we do now? The subspace army has the advantage and we have no idea where their headquarters is."
If Master Hand has eyes he would have looked at Mario with them. "Don't worry we aren't dead yet, and I know what universe all the others have been sent to."
Mario looked back curiously "Really where were they sent?"
"He sent them to a universe that is currently under siege from an ancient race of machines that seem to have some obsession with purging the galaxy every time an advanced civilization shows up." Master Hand replied casually "I have extensive contacts their so I should be able to get you guys some local support."
He then stretched out "Anyway I have a lot of work to do, so I recommend you guys go get patched up in the medical wing." He snapped his fingers, teleporting the remaining smashers to the location in question.
"Now" he said hovering up to the ruined mansion "Let's get you into a more fitting form for the new world."
Almost immediately he glowed with a strange power and began making several motions in the air.
Soon the mansion itself began twisting and changing shape almost in concert with the hands motions. The ground below the mansion became metallic and shifted its shape that it looked like an oval as opposed to the chuck of floating rocks that had been previously holding the mansion. The mansion itself twisted and contorted so that it looked more like a command deck then the mansion it had once been. All over canons and other weapons of various origins sprouted from the newly created vehicle. The final touch was a massive engine that popped out of the back of the mansion turned spaceship.
"Ah very good." Master Hand commented as he summoned a giant red phone to his side "Now it's time to put plane A into action."
Illusive Mans Office
Cerberus HQ
The Illusive Man was looking over dossiers for potential specialists to serve on Shepard's squad for his suicide mission against the collector base. This would be one of the most difficult missions undertaken by any team, he needed the best he could find if he wanted that base taken out, or in Cerberus hands.
His thoughts where interrupted by a small beeping followed by a slightly mechanical voice "Sir there is a 'Mr Hand' attempting to contact you, should I let him through?"
The Illusive Man though for a small moment before giving his answer "Patch him in. Mr Hand has always been one of my most… interesting encounters."
