Disclaimer: I so don't own them…

Author's Note: This is my first Moulin Rouge Fic. I hope you like this. (If any one else did a story from this POV I am sorry.) This story is set right after the curtain closes. If some of this is off, I am sorry, I just saw the movie for the first time last night.

Rating: PG (ish)

Summary: Basically we all know Christian's POV as Satine dies, but what about the other actors/dancers?

I watch as the silken material of the curtains close with a satisfaction I've never known before. We actually did it. Spectacular Spectacular was a hit. I listen to the cheers and screams of the audience as turn my head to look at Satine and Christian. They are so beautiful together.

Satine is an angel. Despite the fact she's a courtesan. She's always been nice to me, like the sister I never had. She had a horrible life, granted. All who are here at Moulin Rouge have had horrid lives, made somewhat better by Harold Zidler.

I think that nothing shall tear those two apart, while I realize Satine is having one of her horrid coughing fits again. Normally I'd think nothing of it, but this time tiny flecks of blood appear on Christian's shoulder. I watch as the coughing takes her completely as the couple slides to the floor. The backstage becomes silent except for Satine's coughing, Christian's pleading, and a few gasps.

"Don't just stand there! Some one get a doctor!" Christian screamed.

I forget who went to get the doctor. It doesn't matter now. No doctor can help her. I feel silent tears slide down my cheeks as Satine struggles to breathe, and as Christian begins to cry. They whisper to each other words that I cannot hear, and she goes limp. I choke back my sobs as Christian lets out his, he rocks her body back and forth and I know no words will help him. I don't think any can.

The audience is still screaming wildly while we all cry, for what was a triumphant moment is now one of unbearable sadness.

None may care, some may just say "Oh well she was just a whore." But she wasn't. She was a jewel. Our Sparkling Diamond, Christian's Sparkling Diamond.

And now, she is truly an angel.
