Just a one-shot for all you guys, it's only short and it's just some Fraphne fluff. Fred and Daphne are a couple in this, but they live in an apartment with the gang and therefore have separate rooms. Thanks to Jazzola, Angel1008, thebieberbabe and everyone else as always!
The darkness surrounded me, and I found myself once again unable to move. Again I heard the footsteps, coming up behind me, but I couldn't see what it was. I tried to scream, but no sound came out as the footsteps got closer, and I could feel warm breath on the back of my neck, and two hands grabbed me by the waist...
Daphne sat up in bed, sweating and trembling as she breathed slowly. She'd had that dream again. The dream that she had almost every night, but she always woke up at the exact same moment, so she didn't know what had grabbed her. Running a hand through her long, red hair, she looked out of the nearby window,
"A full moon. Great, that's made me think of werewolves," she muttered, trying to get that image out of her head. Casually turning her head to the left, she let out a gasp when she saw a dark, hooded figure in front of her door. Bolting from the bed, she threw it and ran out, whilst her dressing gown floated innocently to the floor. Rushing down the hall, she opened the nearest door to her and shut the door behind her, looking over at the other occupant of the room. Despite her nervousness, she couldn't help but smile at her boyfriend as he slept peacefully,
"Freddie? Freddie, you awake?" she whispered, and slowly he opened his eyes, groaning sleepily,
"I am now... what is it?" he asked, and she shifted around on her feet nervously,
"I kind of had a... bad dream. Can I sleep with you?" she asked almost timidly, and in response he pulled away the covers and patted the empty space next to him with a smile. She grinned and walked over, climbing in beside him as he flipped the covers back over them. Daphne sighed contently as Fred wrapped his arms around her waist,
"It's not like you to get scared..." he teased, and his breath on the nape of her neck tickled,
"Oh please Fred, when we went to Disneyland with High School you freaked out the minute you saw Mickey Mouse! It was a guy in a costume!" she replied, and he laughed,
"It's the ears that get to me," he whispered, and she rolled over to face him, kissing his neck softly. He smiled as she looked up at him, lowering his lips onto hers in a tender kiss. She chuckled against his lips and broke away, snuggling into his chest, "You must be tired, go to sleep. I won't let anything hurt you," he whispered, and he watched her breathing regulate into a steady pattern. Gently caressing her cheek, he pressed his forehead onto hers as he closed his eyes, feeling sleep engulf him once again...
The darkness surrounded me again, and I couldn't move. I was having the same dream as before. Suddenly I heard the footsteps, and no matter how many times I'd heard them they still scared me. They came up behind me, but I couldn't see what it was. I tried to scream, but no sound came out as the footsteps got closer, and I could feel warm breath on the back of my neck, and two hands grabbed me by the waist. But I wasn't waking up, and I squeezed my eyes shut, not wanting to see whatever was holding me. But then I heard a familiar chuckle, and Fred leant down and whispered to me,
"I won't let anything hurt you,"
