Eyes as blue as the rustling seas
Hair as dark as autumn leaves
As curious and adventurous as a private eyes
Distracted, distractions. Her world's full of lies.
Hair as dark as autumn leaves
As curious and adventurous as a private eyes
Distracted, distractions. Her world's full of lies.
Skin as pale as this page that holds words
Voice as sweet as a sun-risen bird's
As meddlesome and naive as a newborn hen
Distracted, distractions. All over again.
Thoughts are deep like the Earth's core
Layers of complications and even more
More distractions are blinding her. Call her a liar.
Share with her a spark, she'll soon long for fire.
Soul as complicated but simple as her name
Easily influenced. She plays a game.
These distractions aren't helping. They'll just subside her.
Give her a spark, she'll beg for fire.
She wants fire. She needs fire.
You showed her a spark and now she wants fire.
