Amy sat staring at her cousins. Watching as Jonah and Ham playfully grabbed Dan and tossed him into the pool, laughing. "How can I do this?" Amy thought mournfully "How can I use Dan as bait?"

It had been four days since the Cahill kids had heard from the Outcast, Nathaniel Hartford. He had begun collecting the clues. In doing this he had sent Amy, Dan, and several of their cousins and friends on a race around the globe stopping disasters. Disasters he had caused. It was all just a cover. The kids now knew what he was truly after, the serum. The serum that contained everything that made the Cahill family special, the same serum that could make someone (anyone) the most powerful person in the world.

"No one should have that much power" Amy thought for the hundredth time, "and no one will".

Jonah moved quietly through the room, not exactly his forte. Night had fallen and all his friends were sound asleep, Ian and Cara on the couch, Hamilton in a recliner, and Dan and Amy on a sectional. Carefully sliding the glass French doors open he slid outside. The cool night air was pleasant and welcoming. Usually this would have been the kind of night he loved, but not tonight. Tonight his mind was elsewhere. He had to have answers. He slid his phone out of his pocket and began to walk down the street, careful to keep his head down and hood on. Taking a seat on a bench Jonah took a deep breath and began to dial.

Brrrzzzz brrrzzzz brrrzzzz

"I'm coming I'm coming" Ted said picking up his phone. "Hello"

"Hey Ted, I need your help with something." Jonah said in a rush.

"Jonah oh, okay, what's up? What can I do?" Ted replied.

"I need you to hack into a Janus server."

"Sure but isn't this Cara's job?"

"Just do it okay? And don't tell anyone."

"Alright I'm in. What am I looking for?"

"Any connection you can find between the Outcast and my mom, e-mails, bank transactions, phone records."

"K give me a minute. Okay I found something. Sending it to you now."

"Thanks dude preciate it."

"Jonah what's this about?"

"Just a hunch. Gotta go see ya"
