Nurse Kazane
Kazane Fujimiya is sitting on the windowsill of her bedroom. Some silent and lingering thoughts cloud her mind, as she stares off into the distant twilight moon lit night sky. Then, a shooting star appears. Her eyelids blink. There is a familiar voice that utters her given name.
"K-Kazane," He mutters, while enduring his restless slumber. There is a single sweat drop that leaves a noticeable trail from his temple all the way down the left side of his face. "I-I…"
Kazane slips off from her bedroom windowsill. As light as her footsteps are, she kneels down to a bowl of lukewarm water and begins to wring out a damp facecloth. She folds the cloth, nicely. And, places the cloth on top of the young guy's feverous forehead to cool down his fever.
"K-Kazane," He mutters, once again. His left hand is raised in midair.
Kazane, on cue, takes ahold of his raised hand in hers. "I'm here." She reassures, brushing aside his fringes. "Everything is going to be alright."
"Kazane," He whispers, tilting his head to blindly look at her.
"Everything will be alright. I'm right here beside you."
When he heard the soft sounding of her reassuring voice reach his hearing. He allows himself to inhale deeply into his lungs. Soon afterward, there is a sense of peacefulness that overflows within him.
"May you rest in peace, my love." Kazane said, leaning over to kiss his lips. They are both warm and soft to the touch. "Now, no more having these reckless nightmares." She adds, as she witnesses her beloved fall fast asleep.

AN: Okay, I admit I would have preferred my two top favourite characters of the series, Rouga-kun x Kazane-chan. However, I left this story very open-sided as it is a very rare occasion. Most Gao, Zanya and etc... fans would like this open-mindedness. Merry Christmas 2015 and Happy New Year 2016.
