*Flashback*

The muffled sounds of crying drifted through my eardrums as the rain trickled against my skin. The fire nation, Earth kingdom, Water Tribe, and the Air Nomads have lined up, witnessing avatar Kora's departure. Pictures of the past avatars, including avatar Aang have been lined up, surrounding her body that has been placed in the rock casket.

"Today is a sorrowful day for our world as we are forced to say goodbye to our avatar. Avatar Korra, we wish you a good life filled with many good times in your spiritual life that you are destined to live in after you decease in this mortal world." The minister, along with the people attending to the funeral all bowed down.

My smile faded as a tear slid down my cheek. Goodbye Korra, see you soon.

-Earth Kingdom Territory-

"Ling, I can't believe it." A mid-age woman rubbed the pregnant tummy of Ling.

"Neither can I!" Ling laughed after taking a sip of tea out of the glass teacup.

"Miss, would you like me to fetch anything for your needs?" A servant entered the room.

"Actually I-"

"Madam Ling, your husband has instructed me to protect you!" one of the guards stormed into the living room.

Ling got up without question. She quickly ran out of the room and into the secret tunnel where her husband awaited for her. Tears flowed down her face as she kissed her husband one last time.

"Goodbye Ling." He sadly smiled took his hands off her shoulders and exited out of the dark tunnel.
