Hello! This is a sequel to my story 150 things I'm not allowed to do in the Underworld, but don't worry, you can read it even without having read the first one. This is the introduction.
I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians or Heroes of Olympus.
Hazel was walking through the streets of New Rome, fiddling with her cinnamon curls. She was quite bored, and with the hustle to find the lost Praetor Jason, no one seemed to have time for much. She smiled suddenly, remembering the stories Nico told her when he brought her here. Some of them were about how they'd pranked his father, Hades, in the Underworld, and they made her laugh. She wished it were that much fun around here. She crashed into something soft and warm, and stumbled back.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Frank! Are you alright?" Hazel said. Frank, who she had run into, nodded while blushing. She slightly fanned her face.
"I'm fine. Why were you laughing, though?" He asked. "We're in a crisis. Everyone's still on the hunt for the Praetor."
She smiled as she told him about 'the list' of banned activities in the Underworld, and he laughed every once in a while.
"Wow." Frank said. "I wish it were that fun around here."
"Well…" Hazel said. "I mean… We could make our own list… You know, of things we can't do in Camp Jupiter."
"Hazel, that sounds great, but you know that there's a ton of rules, and…" Frank said, and Hazel nodded vigorously. They were both law-abiding citizens of New Rome.
"Maybe we could… Bend the rules a bit?" Hazel smiled. Frank grinned and agreed.
30 minutes later, at lunch
Gwen sat down with Dakota, who was Kool-Aid drunk, as usual. She wondered how he did that. Hazel and Frank sat down with them. They seemed happy, with a hop in their step.
"What's going on?" Gwen asked. "Has the Praetor been found?"
"No, but we did find a way to lift the spirits around here." Hazel said. They explained the plan, and that they proposed to make a list of 150 things they weren't allowed to do in Camp Jupiter.
"But it stays confidential." Frank said. "Only the four of us will be involved? Will you help?" Gwen smiled and nodded, and Dakota raised a hand and slurred, "I'm in."
Hazel was still beaming. She didn't know if her older brother would be proud, or worried she was breaking the rules, but she was fairly sure he'd be proud.
