"Achoo- What's the on-Achoo-the television-Achoo- today?". Kori asks with a hearty cough afterwards. "Kori are you feeling okay?". I ask with a concerned look on my face. "Y-yes-Achoo- I am the fine.". She says sneezing once again. "Let me feel your forehead...". I say putting my hand up to her face. "Wow , its practically burning." I exclaim making her lie down on the couch. I walk to my room and grab a blanket and some tissues, then make my way back to the common room. I spread the blanket out on top of her and put the tissues on the floor. "I'm gonna run to the store, you gonna be okay?". I ask her and she gives a nod. "Sincerest thanks Boyfriend Richard." I walk into the garage and hop on my r cycle, looking like a thief since I'm only wearing a workout T-shirt and sweats. My hair not slicked back and my mask on.
I arrive at target and grab a red shopping cart. I start running with the cart and glide on top of it until I get to the medicine aisle. Tylonel, tylonel,. I think to myself as I scan the shelves. "Aha!", I exclaim picking the bottle up and throwing it into the shopping cart. I decide to browse the store for other things she might need. More tissues, some Gatorade, three cans of alphabet soup (I'll explain later), and a cute little stuffed dog I found that was about to be thrown away. I'm surprised that a little kid didn't want it but ya know it was for my girlfriend.
I walk up to the register and place my items on the conveyer belt, the cashier scanning my items. One of the perks of being a Teen Titan is you get a mayors gold card. Unlimited money. So I swipe the card and the lady looks up at me. "Are you Robin from the Teen Titans?". She asks. "Yes I am.". I say signing my name on the pen pad. "Well, I would like to thank you for all you and your teammates do.", she says and I nod. "Anytime." I walk out of the store with the bag in my hand and smile to myself. People do appreciate it.
"I'm home!". I say making my way over to the couch where my girlfriend lies looking miserable. "Hey, I got you some medicine.". I tell her handing her the green pill and a Gatorade. She takes the pill sipping the sweet drink. She shuts her eyes quickly falling asleep and I join her crawling underneath the covers and wrapping my arms around her. "Sweet dreams princess.". I say falling into slumber.
