TIME AND TIME AGAIN

The queens eyes burned her like fire, the fierce pride and something else. the girl who's fantasy found her a way to kill the jabberwooky could not phantom the meaning of those eyes and rapid beating of her own heart as their eyes stayed locked together. And as Alice drank the monsters blood she still felt the queens cool hand on her cheek but there are things to do she thought.
C1; The first day.
As the vision of Underland faded another world took its place, as strange as underworld itself, big grey towering buildings, strange smells on the air. Alice looked around confused, this was not home. Not at all! The big oaktree and the rabbithole was there and a few more trees but then after that there was only concrete and the ground was a different kind of hard and gray. She was confused but decided that she would try to find her old house in this strange place so she left the clearing and went towards where the big mansion should be, as she walked she wonder what had happened and for how many years she had been gone but if her adventure in underworld thought her anything it was to stand back and don't panic. So she walked up to the big house and knocked on the door.
"FINALY! She is here Stefán!" the man opening the door shouted into the house then turned to Alice and said "thank God you arrived we were just about to send out a searchparty!, come in come in, your luggage came two days ago!" he ushers her inside a house that is nothing like she remembers. "Stefán the new nanny is here come meet her!" turning to talk to Alice again he says "you must excuse my husband he is so involved with his books sometimes I think he loves them more than me and our children!" he laughs brightly and smiles at her "do you prefer to be called Nan or miss King?" Before Alice could answer the energetic dark man turned to face a newcomer in the room, "honey this is ms King out new nanny" it seemed that he had decided that ms King was the proper way to address her. The other man was as calm as the first was excited and held out his hand to Alice "ms king it is truly a pleasure to meet you, you come highly recomended. Sascha why have you not invited the poor dear in she looks exhausted!" Alice looks between the two of them, they seem to think I am their new nanny, well let them it will give me time to figure out where I am now so she decides to go with it, "Oh I am so very pleased to meet you as well but only my mother calls me Nan my friends call me by my middle name Alice." she didn't answer to Nan after all.
She was shown to her room and told that dinner was in two hours, when she was left alone she looked around in the room it was bright with lots of lights, this world was full of amazing things the toilett was a miracle in itself but Alice had seen so many strange things in Underland she just went with it. one wall was covered by a large bookcase, she walked up to it and picked up a book as she read the cover page she eyes read and reread the printingyear, 2011. 2011! it cant be?! how long was she away? 200 years! oh sweet jesus what was she to do!?
