A little hand touched the bed. "Mommy, Daddy. I had a nightmare."

Edlynn reached out, and pulled the young boy on to the bed.

The mother's eyes slid closed.

Alphonse cuddled between his parents, feeling his father pulling him closer almost like a child would his teddy bear.

He didn't have anymore nightmares that night as he slept in between his two parents' arms.

Alfons Heidrich awoke to find his son curled close to him, and smiled as he brushed his son's hair back with his fingers.

Alphonse snuggled closer to his father with the slightly different first name; Alphonse was named after his uncle.

"Good morning, Daddy." Alphonse called out, giddily.

"Good morning." Alfons murmured just as his wife woke up.

"'Morning, you two." Edlynn mumbled between yawns as she started to rub at her tired eyes.

"Good morning, Mommy!" Alphonse chirped as he curled up between both of his parents again.

Alfons got up to make his beautiful and half-asleep family breakfast.
