Hello there~

This is my first story, I know it's short. I made up the story and typed this chapter up in less than 45 minutes. I promise I'll make the next chapter longer!

Anyway, please enjoy it and I'd love if you would review it!

Thanks :)

Max woke up as the alarm clock beeped out of control, and immediately, she smashed the snooze button to kill the noise. Groaning, Max got up to see the glowing numbers on her alarm clock surrounded by the black oblivion of her dark room.

Five o' clock. She had only slept for two hours, but that was enough for Max. She planned to write for an hour more of her newest book, Fangximum Ride: Fang, it was the sixth book of the series. It was about five bird kids who were constantly chased by wolf creatures called erasers that were sent by mad scientists. The leader of the flock was Fang, short for Fangximum, he was dark, but no doubt gorgeous. The other bird kids were Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel. She had written the book under her pen name, Julie Patt.

After she had went through the cool shower and dressed, she swung her backpack over her shoulder and rushed downstairs. She greeted her adoptive mother cheerfully as she grabbed a few freshly baked chocolate chip cookies of heaven and ran out to catch the bus. She found a seat near the back and sat down. Only three hundred and sixty days left of school until I finally graduate, Max thought.

She stepped inside the school building, which was filled with groups of preppy cheerleader girls, nerds, and the football jocks. As she drifted through the crowd, people would step away from her as if she was something to fear. Occasionally, she cherished the the fact, but deep inside her soul was very, very lonely. She hated school, in fact, she hated every single person there.

She scanned the classroom and found herself sitting in the back, alone as always. This class was taught by a middle aged lady, no older than fifty. Five minutes later, the classroom began to fill up and the teacher began to take attendance. "Maxine Martinez?" the teacher said in a soft but audible voice. "Here, I go by Max." She replied. The teacher looked up, and smiled extraordinary kind, but her eyes looked uneasy when she saw Max. Suddenly, a guy dressed completely in black stepped in. Some of his black hair fell on his face, covering a part of his right eye. He was totally hot. It took Max a few seconds to realize that he was exactly like the main fictional character she had been falling for and writing about, Fang. The teacher grinned at him as he handed her a piece of paper. He flashed a drop dead gorgeous smile that revealed his pearl white teeth. Snap out of it Max, he's not Fang, fictional characters don't exist. She thought angrily. "Fang" slowly walked to the back and took the only empty seat left, the one next to Max.
