"How much is this?" Matsuri said slowly in English.
"Um…. One…. One thousand yen?" Anna replied.
Matsuri shook her head.
"Sorry, Anna. Five thousand."
"Ohh! It's no use!" the blonde moaned. "I can't believe I could let myself forget the language I grew up learning! How could I be so foolish?"
"I-it's okay. Don't worry, you've gotten better since we first started studying together."
"I…." the blue eye girl sighed. "I know. It's just so difficult. I wish I could remember. I want to be able to speak the language I grew up with, again. I've gotten myself in really deep now, Matsuri. I shouldn't have lied but…. It's embarrassing." The English girl blushed and looked away from her friend.
"Don't worry—"
"Please stop saying that."
"I-I'm sorry…." The grey haired girl looked at the school's clock. "It's almost time to go home. Let's put our stuff up and continue at my house, okay?"
Anna sighed.
"I guess so. You can help me more since you've been learning so much for me. In fact, you're further along than I am. I'm jealous."
Matsuri blushing brightly at the comment.
"Thanks."
The bell rang, and everyone left. Anna and Matsuri rushed over to her house as quickly as they could, trying to avoid their other friends. They already knew about Anna having trouble relearning English, but they would try to tag along, and they didn't need trouble from Miu.
"Okay, let's go back to where we left off. How much is this?"
