A nice crisp and peaceful spring day was finally upon Kalos. After a long and dull winter the Kalos League Circuit was finally ready to begin! Of course this was great news for one certain young adult who after 11 years of traveling was well prepared for another run around in a new region. Of course, I'm talking about 21 year old Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. Even after getting his starter Pokemon, battling numerous leagues, and conquering puberty; he still maintained his childlike wonder when it came to new region.

As his plane flew over the Kalos country side another young adult was preparing for her first journey despite being 21. Her after nine years of Rhyhorn racing her mother finally let her baby go and determine her own fate after a one on one talk a few days ago. Serena was always more of a girly girl with an interest in fashion and natural beauty. However one of her main faults is that she doesn't know what to do in life. Maybe a certain Raven haired boy can help?

As Serena was preparing for her first journey a young man in Lumiose City was having a few problems of his own. With radical anarcho-communists and national populists ready to pounce on the center of Kalos if the fires of revolution are kindled and burn with a passionate flame. He realized his problems were only going to get bigger. His little sister was ready to go on her first journey and he wasn't entirely comfortable with that idea. This was not just Clemont's day... or week.

Speaking of little sisters, Bonnie felt that she was more than prepared for her first journey. She knew how to cook, set up a tent and fire, and take care of her Pokemon. Being a 15 year old she thought that she ready to take on the world. She had always wanted to be a trainer and battle gyms like her brother's. However Kalos was increasing unstable and with it's economy on a downward spiral it may be unlikely that she could go on a journey.

Kalos, a once great land of opportunity and beauty, is know under threat from radical parties trying to seize power from the republic. With democracy on it's last legs what can Diantha do, as current president and leader of the Social Democrat's Party. Only time will tell if Kalos can withstand the pressure of the radicals.

The world is on the brink of war and should one of the radical parties take over or the economy does not recover; it could be plunged into the fires of revolution. Can the world ever see peace or will it be plunged into the destruction of war. The 1914 Kalos General Election could save the Federal Republic of Kalos or it could be it's downfall. The world is indeed a powder keg waiting for the match to be struck.

Author's notes time Yay!

Now I'm going to warn you that this is not going to be your typical journey fan fiction. I am doing something that I have never seen on or anywhere else. You probably can already tell that it's going to have a massive military and warfare theme however it won't be all blood and guts. That will come in the sequel to this book which just consists of the journey. Again this is a massive AU and there will be massive changes. REALLY big changes. Please review and give me constructive criticism. Flames will be ignored.
