"Steady…. Steady….." Chika slowly went to place the final card at the top of the rickety house of cards. It collapsed. Everyone moaned.
"Ohh!"
"Chika, you did it wrong!" Miu proclaimed. "It goes like this!" the brunette grabbed the other twelve-year-old's hands and tried to make them start standing up more cards from behind.
"Miu, I don't think you can make those cards stand up by making Chika's hands do it." Anna said. "If you really want to remake the card house, you start it with your own hands." The blonde then began remaking the base of the house of cards.
"I'm no good at this. I nearly knocked it over earlier!" Matsuri said as she tried to help Anna.
"Nonsense!" the English girl said. "You did great on the first one with us!"
The grey haired girl blushed at the compliment.
"T-thanks, Anna."
Slam!
The card house fell over again.
"Chika! Look at what you did!" Miu said, knowing good and well that it wasn't her friend's fault.
"Miu!" Chika groaned.
"What're you guys doing?" Nobue asked.
"See, Miu? She was the one who knocked it over."
"A card house?" the twenty-year-old asked. "I was never good at these."
"You too? Me neither!" Matsuri said happily, liking that she could relate to the older sister figure of the group.
"Let's do something else. Got any cookies? Chika, go make some cookies." The brunette with pigtails said.
"Ugh. On it." And with that, Chika left to make cookies, and no one touched the crumbled house of cards for the rest of the day.
