Valerie, or Val for short
Appearance:
Waist length ginger hair, almost always in a braid(she's only mildly annoyed with it flapping around in her face), electric blue windbreaker for when she's flying, but she stuffs that into her backpack, so she usually has a grey hoodie for on the ground, flexible-but torn- jeans, pale skin, blue eyes, and wings in an array of reddish browns, darker colors in the primary feathers. Like the other bird kids, she still needs a LOT of food, but stays lean because she flies so often, and flying is like most sports in one(real calorie burner). As a fourteen year old, and a bird kid, she's around 5' 9''. She is thin (not skin and bones, but lean), and with hollow bones, she's relatively prone to breaking them. But thankfully, she heals faster than average.
Personality, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc.
She's relatively headstrong(a huge flaw on the scientist's part), but like Max, is prone to helping people who she doesn't have time for(e.g. Ella), she has very little interest in guys, because most of them are gross, and the ones who are not, well, they aren't kids with a 12 foot long wingspan, now, are they? She really likes to work on flying techniques, and also cool tricks. She has another flaw, and this one is a toughie. Perfectionism. In other words, she strives to be perfect like most of us, but unlike most of us, she doesn't accept the fact that no one is perfect. She also really cares about how she looks, even though she doesn't really care what people think of her(even though she cares about her looks, she despises make-up because its not YOU,and she can't afford it. Not to mention when the windburn of flying makes your eyes water, it smudges all freaking over you), besides herself. On the less flawed side, she is relatively good a reasoning with people, she isn't afraid to stand up for her freedom, but she will get carried away if someone she doesn't know disagrees with her.
Extremely short backstory:
She was made to be a combination of Max and Dylan, but part of the natural hereditary emotions kicked in, and she wanted to leave from that cruel place. She left, learned with our favorite school-the Internet-and ventured the world, looking for the School, until she realized that she had a funny feeling she'd been places that she hadn't, but Max had. And then the flashbacks started. And the headaches. And stuff. Read the fanfic for more stuff :P
I'm sorry if she sounds OP with her physical strength, but if you read the series, you will know most of these abilities are true of the others.
