Harry potter continued
CHAPTER 1) A HAPPY POTTER AFTER?
Well, the Dark Lord was certainly gone now. There was no doubt. Harry Potter had once again defied Voldemort, whose name, alongside Harry's, shall be etched in history for the rest of eternity.
But Harry felt like a part of him had been ripped away from him. All his life, he had worked on defeating the Dark Lord. But now, with that out of the way, he has nothing planned to…work on. Honestly, he was afraid of what awaited him. He was afraid of the prospects of a life spent with Ginny, even, what with all the responsibilities that come along with it.
He was afraid that he would lose his way in this dark, dark world. His previous troubles were indeed gone, but they have cleared the path for more. "You know, what if…what if I made a mistake? The Dark Lord, defeating him was a shared responsibility. All of you guys were helping me. And…"as Harry continued verbalising his thoughts and worries to Hermione and Ron in the dining room at Hogwarts, a day before everyone leaves for home, the cynical part of him took over."Honestly, most of the people rooting for me wanted me to win and fought hard, not because they wanted all of humanity to win and live, but mainly because they wanted themselves to be alive. With that in mind, I don't think many people would be willing to help me if I do make a blunder in my personal life from now on. After all, what would they gain from helping me?"
"Come on, Harry! You defeated one of the most powerful dark wizards of all time! What on Earth could you not do?" Ron chirped, apparently recovered from the blistering fight not too long ago.
"Ron's right. And don't forget, we're always here to help you," Hermione said comfortingly, grabbing Harry's palm in assurance.
Harry managed a grateful smile.
"By the way, Ron, can I temporarily stay at your place for the time being? I don't think Hogwarts has a graduate school for me to attend and live in."Harry winced, remembering the Dursleys and a place he once called, definitely not affectionately, home. What he wouldn't give to have them disappear from his life. "On a side note, I sure will miss Hogwarts' dorms."
"I'll miss the food more," Ron joked.
"Ron!"Hermione elbowed him.
Harry laughed a genuine laugh.
"But yeah, sure mate! You can crash at my place. Mom would be more than willing to have the most powerful wizard living with her." Ron said.
"Thanks, bud."
