Bustman (wearing a lame Halloween Frankenstein mask.) Muah ha ha ha! Remember me? I'm back with a new story, Tabuu's Revenge. My first horror story. Those with weak hearts, I suggest you go up to the top left of your screen and hit the back button. I will kill off many smashers in this story, so read on to see if your favorite survives! This will probably include all the characters in the game, but I might not include a few. Anyways, because I'm too lazy to say the disclaimer, so…Luigi, come on out here!

Luigi: (nervously) Hey, Bustman? You don't get killed off while doing the disclaimer, do you?

Bustman: No, Luigi, you do not. In fact, that reminds me…if you do the disclaimer, that means you will not be killed that chapter. By being chosen to do the disclaimer, you are safe for the time being.

Luigi: Yippee! Bustman does not own anything related to Super Smash Bros, everybody!

Bustman: Very good, Luigi. Let the story…begin!

(Lightning flashes, and the room goes dark.)

Bowser and Yoshi walked through the forest, fishing rods in their hands and fishing hats atop their heads.

"It's a beautiful day out, isn't it, Bowser?" Yoshi said happily. Bowser nodded, munching on a peanut butter sandwich. They finally came to a clear lake, where they sat their equipment down.

"So, Yoshi, what do you think? Is this a good fishing spot or what?" Bowser asked, yanking up his fishing rod and landing a rainbow trout. Yoshi, who already had two sea bass sitting beside him, nodded. He shivered as a cold wind blew through the sky.

"Whoa!" Bowser said, surprised, as he felt a drop of water land on his snout. He shook it off. "Well, at least more fish will come out now that it's raining."

"Agreed." Yoshi said uneasily, landing a horse mackerel. "But Bowser, if the storm gets bad, is there any place to take shelter around here?"

Bowser thought this over. "No, there isn't. Maybe we should get back." He pulled back his line and grabbed a can of worms. The two began to walk back through the woods, as the rain began to get fiercer.

"Crap!" Yoshi yelled, as a flash of lightning nearly blinded him. Less then a second after the lightning, thunder could be heard. "We're directly beneath the storm!"

As he said this, lightning struck a tree, and it fell inches away from Bowser's tail. He cowered back, looking confused.

"Are you sure there's no shelter? It's a ten minute walk back to the car!" Yoshi shouted.

"There is an abandoned cabin somewhere around here…" Bowser muttered, as his hat blew off his head. He took out a compass. "That way."

The two ran off the path into the woods. Lightning flashed again, and the thunder came in even less time than before.

"There!" Bowser shouted, over the roar of the wind. An old brick shack stood in the middle of the clearing, seemingly deserted. Bowser and Yoshi ran into it as lightning flashed yet again. They opened the door, went inside, and quickly closed it as the thunder boomed outside. The two panted for a bit, leaning into the wall and listening to the rhythmic beat of the rain on the roof. Yoshi looked around, taking in his surroundings. A fireplace towered above two log chairs, and a kitchen stood to its left. A stereo in the back was softly playing the Happy Days theme song. Bowser, still shaking, breathed fire into the fireplace, which was immediately illuminated with the flames. Yoshi sat down next to him, breathing heavily. The two sat by the fire for a while, as the thunder boomed outside.

"You hungry?" Bowser eventually said. Yoshi nodded warily.

"Let's see if there's any food in that refrigerator."

The two walked over to the white fridge and yanked it open. To their surprise, it was stocked with fresh food. Yoshi shrugged and took a yogurt, while Bowser took a bright red apple. They closed the fridge door.

"Hey," Bowser said, taking off a post-it on the fridge. "The ink is fresh. It looks like it was written recently. Yoshi came over, and the two stared at the note. It only had three words on it, which chilled them to the bone.

Look behind you.

The two slowly turned, and gave a piercing scream. The fire had gone out, and roughly a hundred shadowy creatures were staring at them. Lightning suddenly flashed, and the two saw them clearly for the first time. 200 malicious red eyes bore into theirs, with pitch black faces. They had rectangular bodies, and long arms and legs. Some of them bore swords, and some guns. The two recognized them all to well. These were the soldiers of the subspace army. These were primids. A human stood at the front, with a bandana wrapped around his face and head, and rags on his body. The only skin visible on him were his blood-red eys.

"The storm scare you?" The ragged human said, in a taunting, icy voice. "We're here to lend you some company."

The two smashers backed into the wall, sweat trickling down their faces. "Who-who are you?"

"My name? Of no importance," the icy voice said behind his mask. "But someone has been looking forward to meeting you again…come on in here, Petey."

The wall crashed open, and a giant piranha plant walked in, white teeth gleaming maliciously. It clanged two cages together and roared.

"Yes…that's right, Petey. Maybe we should bring them back home with us. You two will be traveling," the masked figure turned to them. "First class…"

Petey Piranha roared and swept his giant cage along the kitchen floor. Bowser jumped out of the way, but Yoshi slid into the cage, screaming. Bowser backed away, sweat trickling down his face. The masked figure's red eyes bore into his.

"Get him."

The primids advanced, swinging their swords and chanting a battle cry. Bowser yelled in fright and began to run from the dark creatures. He felt a gun shot bounce off his shell and gulped. The primids were advancing on the slow monster. He stopped at a wall and turned to face the primids, face white. They slowly advanced, drinking in his fear, red eyes glinting. Bowser shrunk into his shell and whirled back, crashing into the wall and crumbling it. He came out of his shell and began to run into the woods, not checking if the primids were chasing after him. The masked figure stared as his minions shot bullets after the large turtle.

"Ah, Bowser," he said softly, staring into the woods. "You can run, and you can hide, but for how long? For how long?"

Everything was going on as usual in Smash Mansion. Kirby was sucking up everyone's breakfast, ignoring the angry shouts and screams, while Mario and Luigi were playing cards. Captain Falcon was flirting with Samus, who was loading her charge shot behind her back, and Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong were eating bananas. Suddenly Fox, who was playing Scrabble with Falco and Link, pricked up his ears.

"I can hear a car pulling in," he said. Everybody watched as Bowser entered through the door, looking as though he may be sick.

"Bowser? Where's Yoshi?" Falco asked, looking around. Bowser looked like he might faint.

"Yoshi…Petey…Happy Days theme song…Subspace Army…back…" Bowser's eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell down, unconscious. The smashers ran to the large koopa.

"Everybody, stand back!" Dr. Mario said, running to the large koopa. He inspected him.

"He's in shock." Dr. Mario reported, turning to the crowd of people that had gathered around. He stood back. "There's nothing we can do for him at the moment besides let him rest. Snake, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon and Donkey Kong, can you carry him up to his room?" He nodded to the most muscular smashers, who all nodded and carried him up the stairs. Chatting erupted amongst the smashers.

"What do you think he meant by Petey?"

"What did he say about an army?"

"I remember that theme song! Back in my day…"

"Calm down, everyone! I got the whole thing on my Blackberry Curve, so we can watch it for clues about what he meant!"

Everyone turned to Pit, who was holding up a cellphone.

"Since when do you have a Blackberry?" Toon Link asked, scratching his head. "Don't you, like, live in the clouds?"

"Yeah, they have an AT&T store up there." Pit shrugged. Everybody gathered around him, and he replayed the scene.

"Did he say…the subspace army?" Falco gulped, looking at the smashers.

"And did he say…back?" Fox looked around.

"And did he say…The Happy Days theme song?"

The hall erupted in chatter, fantasizing about what he meant.

"Maybe Happy Days is having an episode about the army?"

"No, I'm pretty sure he meant the army rid him of his happy days."

"What do you think he meant by 'Petey'?"

"I've got it!" Pit snapped his fingers. Everybody turned to him. "He must have meant 'Pinky'. She was a character on that show, right?"

"Oh yeah, she was Fonzie's ex." Link said. The hall erupted into chatter again, and, still chatting, the smashers headed up to their rooms.

"So, we meet again, Yoshi." The large, human shaped monster laughed. "I remember you gave particular trouble to the Ancient Minister…"

"Unhand me!" Yoshi shouted, banging his fists against the bars of the cage. Tabuu grinned.

"Of course. I just have one tiny favor to ask of you. Give me information on the Smash Brothers. Then you can go free."

"Never!" Yoshi yelled, glaring at Tabuu. Tabuu smiled and nodded to the masked man. He clicked a button in his hand, and the bars Yoshi were clinging onto electrified the green dinosaur. He slumped back, wounded.

"We don't want that to happen again, do me, my green friend? Just tell me how I can penetrate the Smash Mansion. That's it. Then you're off scott-free. In fact, I may even spare you when I destroy them all."

"Ne-never." Yoshi said, dazed, slumping against the bars of his cage. Tabuu nodded to the masked man, who electrified the dinosaur again. Yoshi's scream echoed throughout the hall. Tabuu's smile broadened.

"A bit stubborn, are we? Tell me, Yoshi, is there anything I can do for you to make you open up to me?"

"No. Nothing at all."

"Very well." Tabuu sighed. He turned his back. "Dispose of him."

The masked man swung open the door to Yoshi's cage. Yoshi scrambled to get out, but felt something sharp slice against his neck. For a second he saw the masked figure laughing, as if he had just told a funny joke, and then everything went black.

The smashers blinked sleep out of their eyes, yawning and stretching. They went down to the cafeteria to have breakfast. Master Hand floated up to the front of the room before they ate breakfast, to make his morning announcement.

"Attention, everyone. Bowser has woken up. He is ready to speak."

All the smashers went quiet as Bowser gulped and walked up to the front of the room. Dr. Mario nodded encouragingly, and Bowser cleared his throat.

"Me and Yoshi were out fishing, as we do every third Saturday of the month. We came to the lake, and a storm began to rage. We decided to go back, but the storm was too fierce for us to get back to the car, so we took shelter in a cabin off the path. We started a fire, and walked to the refrigerator to get something to eat." Bowser gulped, reliving the scene, and continued. "We found a note on the refrigerator, recently written. It told us to look behind us. We turned around and found…8 dozen primids staring at us." Gasps emitted from the smashers. Bowser raised his hand for silence.

"A-a masked man was at the front. His entire body was covered in rags, and his eyes were blood-red. He…he told us that we had a special visitor, and…" Bowser shook. "Petey Piranha broke through the wall."

The smashers stared at Bowser, shocked. He shuddered and continued. "Petey…took Yoshi, and began to come after me. I narrowly escaped, but…" the large koopa broke out in tears. "I don't know what happened to Yoshi."

The smashers looked at Bowser in a stunned silence as he finished his story. Then Peach wailed.

"What do we do?"

The smashers all broke out into worried chatter. Bowser, still weeping, went back to his table.

"Attention, smashers! ATTENTION!" Master Hand yelled, trying to quiet the panicked smashers. "We must take action immediately! If the subspace army really is back, we must raise our guard! No smashers may leave the mansion unaccompanied, and without me and Crazy's approval! At least three smashers must be outside on guard at all times, and we will give beepers to everyone. If any of the dark army try to get in, press your beeper and it will let all the rest of us know! Lock your rooms at night, and me and Crazy will put protective spells around them! Pit, Charizard, Meta Knight, go gather supplies from the town, and make sure not to walk anywhere that's deserted! I will call the police and inform them of this information now!" Master Hand floated off, and the smashers broke into conversation again.

"Who am I supposed to room with now?" Link asked, face pale. Marth clamped his shoulder.

"You can room with me and Ike. We have room."

"Thanks." Link said, relaxing a little. Peach was continually screaming, until Meta Knight got sick of it and heaved her out the window. The smashers continued to chatter as they piled into the pain simulators, getting ready for the next tournament.

"Master," the masked figure bent down before Tabuu, not making eye contact. "What do you wish for me to do next? Powerful magic seals off Smash Mansion. You cannot penetrate it."

"I may not be able to penetrate it, but you can, with the right information. I need you to gather this information. Do not fail me, Blazer."

Blazer looked up at his master through his red eyes. "I shall not, Master. The smashers shall pay for what they did to me so long ago." Blazer jumped onto a steed and ran through the portal out of subspace, grabbing his sword as he rode.

"Soon they will pay," he said, now running through a dark forest. "Soon I will get my revenge!"

Bustman: Did you like it? Didja? I beg of you to review, and if you wish for a character not to die in my story, tell me in a review. If I haven't already decided that character will die, I will take it into consideration. Again, I hope you enjoyed it!
