i suck in a breath
i close my eyes

but nothing comes

i open my eyes to see
the ground
5 inches from my face
i gasp as strong arms
tighten around my waist
i turn briefly glancing
into pure blue eyes
his wings beat above us
strong and pure
he pulls me into his arms
and flys higher
setting me down on the roof
he whispers
"dont go"
