A/N: So, I shall be writing more after next week :). I hope you like my stories, I might pick up my other Pokemon story I started to write. Sorry guys it's been a rough year, especially trying to chose between pokeshipping and amourshipping. Blah. Okay, here's an amourshipping for you.

This day has been trudging in the back of my mind since the day I met him again. Anticipating? No. I knew this day would come sooner or later but I kept putting it off. Instead, I've been living in my own little perfect world, with just him and I, and we would travel Kalos forever, as partners, and someday lovers...

"Plane to Kanto will be leaving shortly. Please make your way to the gate now."

"Well, thanks for everything guys, I'll see you guys real soon!" Ash took a few times, giving a wink and thumbs up. He was absolutely beautiful, despite his faults, and now he's leaving his trademark.

"We'll be friends forever Ash, you've taught us a lot!" Bonnie chimed in.

"Yeah and thanks to science, we can communicate as well!" Clemont exclaimed boldly. He was a dork, but at least he's gotten better

"Yeah, definatly." Ash replied. I looked down in silence. Could I ever bare to say goodbye? I don't think I could without getting choked up.

"Serena?" I looked up, jerking from my thoughts.

"Y-yeah?"

"Goodbye Serena, keep in touch, okay?"

"Yeah, okay... Bye"

"You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I put on a small smile for him. He nodded in return, and walked away, waving back.

I watched in agony, as people passed like they didn't care, as if they didn't know, as if he didn't know. He was going, my friends were going, I was going, and we'd all be gone.

Just like last time.

No, not again.

I dashed. With everything and everything against me, I grabbed him and hugged him with all my might.

"I-I don't want you to go Ash..." I buried my face, filling my head with his heart warming scent. I did what I didn't want to do: let go. I tried to keep my eyes dried, but my thoughts and heart laid upon on my irises like a blanket.

"Why Serena? You have traveled with me for so long, and it was great... I … uh... have to go back, and so do you, don't you?"

"You... you don't understand Ash..." I whispered quietly, slowly tilting my head to his right ear. I wished my heart beat would drown out my words.

"I love you."

He, along with his partner Pikachu, gasped. My wishes were in vain, and I regretted this decision.

"Serena... I- Serena!"

I din't know and didn't care where I was going. I pushed passed the people, all who will never care, onto the moving sidewalk.

However, my efforts to run were quickly haulted by a hand on my shoulder.

"Ash" I said quietly. "You have a plane to catch."

"Look Serena, I-"

"Last call for the Kanto flight."

"Ash-"

"Nevermind that. I have a more important deadline." He made me look into his eyes, as he took off his hat and gave it to me.

"I couldn't..."

"Keep it. It's my promise I will return."

I blinked and I felt a brisk touch of his lips brush against mine. I grew warm, and I never knew so many people could produce so much body heat. With a dash, he waved one last goodbye, and dissappeared in the midst of people.

That what would've happen, I'm sure of it.

If only that were to happen, but I missed my chance. Instead, I'm held against my will to just wave and watch his happiness pass me by.

If only I had the guts to tell him, however my last chance was gone like chaff in the wind.
