"It's been a while, eh, Danna,un?" the blonde teen said silently, taking a seat next to the stone grave. Deidara had finally found some free time, which wasn't disrupted by Tobi, and decided to visit his old partner's grave.

"So...what's it like being dead, yeah?" Deidara asked jokingly, the smile he had started to fade. He felt a lump in his throat. Silence filled the next few moments, as a wave of sadness passed over him.
"Why did you have to die, Sasori no Danna?" he asked sadly, feeling the tears well up in his blue eyes. "You were my best friend..." the bomb artist whispered, pulling his knees up to his chest.

Deidara quickly wiped the tears; he was in the Akatsuki for pete's sake! He couldn't cry...it was a sign of weakness...but right now, he didn't care. Crying was the only thing Deidara felt like doing at the moment. "I...I remember the one time...where...I filled one of your puppets up with explosive clay..." he whispered, his blonde hair falling over both eyes now. "you picked it up, and...it blew up. You ended up picking wood and clay out of your hair for days. I remember me...thinking it was hilarious...you chased me around the lair, screaming about how you'd kill me slowly and painfully, un." Deidara floated back into those memories. Salty tears dripped down his face.

"But...I knew you wouldn't actually harm me, yeah. That's why...I would always pull those pranks; because I knew you'd only stay mad for a short while, un." Deidara smiled a little.

A cool wind blew through the trees, making them sway and rustle. The artist pulled a small wad of non-explosive clay out of one of the clay bags on his waist, and started molding something. "I miss you, Danna, un..." he whispered, closing his eyes for a moment, trying to block the tears. He failed, letting the tears drip to the ground. "Tobi's kinda like I used to be, I guess. He's always trying to impress me...trying to make art, un. And then, there are those times, where he's the most annoying little bugger on the face of the Earth, yeah..." Deidara sighed. "But, then again, it sounds like what I'd used to do to you..."

More tears fell onto the grass where the blonde sat. "Why did you leave, Sasori? It's not fair...it hurt...so much, yeah.." Deidara sobbed, his free hand gripping at his heart. It was a terribly painful realization that he'd never see his best friend again.

Deidara sat there for a few minutes, sobbing. The sun started to set, the rays of sun giving the blonde's wet cheeks a golden tint. "I miss you...a lot, un..." he whispered again, wiping the tears off his face.

He let out a sigh, finished the small clay sculpture, and slowly stood up. "I'll visit you again later, Sasori-Danna, un." Deidara said, leaving the little clay bird next to his Danna's grave.

Deidara silently walked away from the grave, and then whispered something to himself.

"Always go out with a bang, un."
