He watched him slice each portion with precision, careful not to spill as he ate.
"The best way to make an apple crumble is to torture it for 10 minutes."
L turned to look at Raito, eyes wide and the fork he's holding still in his mouth. He swallowed, faced towards the screen and nonchalantly said, "2 medium apples, self-raising flour, butter and sugar. 15 minutes to prepare and another 35 to bake." He paused to take another bite. "But 10 minutes? You flatter yourself Raito-kun."
Raito smirked.
Ryuuku, perched on the sofa next to Raito, said anxiously, "Why would anyone torture an apple?"
