Gather 'round children, gather around – today we're going to learn the alphabet according to the marauders! Sit down on a cushion and let's begin.
A is for animagus (The stag, the dog and the rat.)
B is for books (Of course Moony added that...)
C is for chocolate (The werewolf was an addict.)
D is for detention (To see which teacher got the maddest.)
"Wait a second... is maddest even a word?"
"I'm not so sure... but I was trying to make it rhyme. Brownie points for me!"
E is for Evans (Though Lily's her first name.)
F is for Fish&Chips (That shop will never be the same.)
"Uh... Mister... what happened?"
"That's a story for another day Kid."
G is for girls (Sirius dated anyone for a bet.)
H is for Hogwarts (Where the four Marauders met.)
I is for indecisive (A long word we don't understand.)
J is for Jelly (We have it on demand.)
"Oh, wow – really?"
"Yeah, the house elves totally dig us!"
K is for kitchen (To enter just tickle the pear.)
L is for Lily (James adores her flaming red hair.)
"James... Prongs... we're not making this a love confession thing..."
"But it would be awesome!"
M is for Marauder! Mischief! Mayhem! (The list goes on and on)
N is for nothing ('Cause we never do nothing wrong.)
"The grammar of that's wrong..."
"Oh shut up."
O is for owls (We actually have one of those!)
P is for party (We're party animals did you know?)
Q is for queen (Sirius is the biggest drama queen ever!)
"Hey. I resent that."
R is for running (Away from teachers forever.)
S is for Shrieking Shack (Where the full moon pulls its strings)
T is for Transfig (Where Sirius and James are the kings)
U is for unsatisfactory (Our results of our behaviour)
V is for Voldemort (The person who'll kill your pa- Mmph-)
"You can't say that to children!"
"Just preparing them for the future..."
"*Sighs* Carry on..."
W is for Werewolf (They're warm and very furry)
X is for Xylophone (They've no relevance to this story)
Y is for yelling (To get our message across)
Z is for Zebra (An animal worth a lot of dosh)
"That doesn't even make sense"
"Well, what else am I going to put in for 'Z'?"
So I hope you kiddies listened closely, your learning time is done. I wish you all such luck and hope - Our reign has just begun.
