Rose's POV
I fell out of bed. Wow, how wonderful. Oh god, damn this. My forehead hurts. Ouch. Ugh, it's Christmas and I can't find a decent present for Dimitri. Let me mention, NEVER give your soon-to-be-boyfriend-without-letting-your-mom-know a gift that reminds him of Barbie. Anyways, I'm going to go shopping with Lissa soon, hopefully. I'm going to see if I can get anything adorable, or manly for him. What the hell? I heard a scream out in the corridor. I opened the door to find Adrian rolling on the floor screaming like a little girl who didn't get what she wanted. " What the hell is going on Adrian?" I asked him arching an eyebrow. He just twitched his eyes at me.
Adrian's POV
Did I mention how scared I am right now? I mean, I like Christmas and all, but buying presents for people other then my little Dhampir is just plain wrong. Yeah, you might be calling me selfish right now… but guess what? I don't give a damn! I looked at my lovely soon to be Rose Hathaway to find her staring at me like I just went nuts. Yeah, I did. Well, I'll tell you why. I was walking down the corridor trying to get to Rose's dorm when an elf attacked me! I'm definitely not kidding. It was scary. Because then they were threatening that if I didn't buy a present for everyone at 's, poor Santa Claus would come after me too! See? I told you it was freaky. " Rose, an elf attacked me." I said seriously. She stared at me still arching an eyebrow and then held onto the door, trying to fall down. She laughed. "Are...you…kidding…me?" She asked, still laughing. I glared at her. Wait, I could never get mad at my Little Dhampir. "Rose, I'm not kidding. They threatened to call Santa Claus!
