Summary: Criminal Minds, Hotch profiling his team, beyblade style.

"My team? Let me tell you about my team." Mr. Dickenson told the man who had come to tear them apart.

"Rei fought to save his identity from the very people who could help him. Why? Because trust has to be earned and there are very few people he actually trusts." He told the man, watching Rei take Kenny into a choke hold and mess up his hair.

"Tyson's bravado is a shield for his true fears, and at the moment his shield is under repair." He continued, watching Tyson cheer after beating Max at a video game.

"Kenny does everything he can to help the team with training because he doesn't truly believe that he's an important part of the team. He needn't worry." They watched as Kenny went back to his computer, typing away madly.

"Everyday Hilary looks at the tournament lists that we are invited to, and every day she hopes she chose the one that isn't part a world domination quest. All she wants is for her friends to stay safe." They saw Hilary start an argument with Tyson about the next tournament they would go to.

"Max fills his life with happy thoughts and a cheerful attitude, to remind himself to smile as they are thrown into yet another hopeless situation." They watched as Max laughed at Tyson and Hilary, saying something that made everyone laugh. Kai even cracked a smile.

"And Kai, in many ways, is damned by his knowledge of how cruel the world can be, which is why he shares so little of himself but pours his heart and soul into every battle he fights." Kai shook his head and walked out of the house, Rei following him, no doubt trying to get him to either relax or smile.

"This is my team. And you'll have a damned hard time trying to part them." Mr. Dickenson finished, leading the man out of the building.

"If they truly make such a close team, I wouldn't want to tear them apart. It would only make them more jaded than they already are." The man assured him, walking the rest of the way to his car alone.

Emerald-demoness: Okay, I have no clue where this came from. I was watching the scene where Hotch profiles his team and could totally see Mr. Dickenson doing similar. Yes, I know, some of this is out of character, okay, maybe a lot of it, but still . . .
