Snape glanced up at the clock on the wall; just another 10 minutes, and he would have broken his record, three days without taking points from Gryffindor.
Purposely he strode off down the corridors doing his usual nightly rounds. The school was how it should be…quiet.
As Snape went passed the Library, he heard a muffled voice "Sshhh".
He walked in, his wand drawn, "Lumos," he muttered.
There standing in the Restricted Section where Harry, Hermione and Ron.
"Fifty points for being out past curfew," he roared.
He sighed, so much for his keeping his New Years Resolution.
