Lelouch sighed, classes were going to start and he wasn't excited for his new school. He didn't know anyone and he also didn't know his way around the big place he was probably lost. As he turned the corner he felt a thump and fell down on his butt. As he opened his eyes he heard a blue haired boy start apologizing.

"Sorry sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going"

"It's fine don't worry" lelouch got on his feet and brushed the dirt off his pants.

"Hey do you happen to be new here?"

"Um yea todays my first day here."

"Are you lost perhaps haha because the classes are that building over there."

Lelouch felt stupid he quickly looked down at the ground in embarrassment. The boy in front of him laughed at the other boys actions.

"I'm Rivalz by the way."

"My name's lelouch"

"Do you want me to take you to where the classes are?"

"Yes please that would help me a lot."

Rivalz and lelouch walked together as Rivalz started to chat more with Lelouch. He asked any question that came into his mind. Just then as lelouch looked to his side he bumped into someone nearby. Lelouch bowed his head quickly apologizing for what he did but all he heard coming from that person was a tsk, lelouch looked up. A brown haired man with big green eyes was looking down at him. The man had a crossed look in his face and lelouch felt his knees shake, why was he so scared of this person?

"HEY BRAT!" Lelouch shivered as he heard the voice scream at him.

"Watch where you're going or do you want me to teach you the hard way?!" Lelouch felt his small frame being picked up. Rivalz quickly panicked knowing who it was and interefered.

"Please theres no need for violence, he's new we were just heading to class."

The man still looked mad as he lifted his arm, probably ready to punch lelouch. Lelouch laughed.

"What are you laughing at?!"

"Nothing it's just I didn't know this school had animals"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

"You heard me"

Lelouch felt his body fly in the air and hit the wall, Rivalz ran over quickly to check if his new friend was alright. Lelouch looked up at the man in front in him, with a crossface. The other male stared at him as well, spat and left.

"Lelouch! How could you say that, you're lucky you're still alive"

"What do you mean? Isn't he just a brute for bumping into him?"

"His name is Suzaku Kururugi around here everyone is scared of him. One time he fought with a guy and they saw the fight was so bad the guy he fought with was in the hospital for three months lelouch!"

"That does sound scary, but I won't let his kind get to me. Let's go to class." Lelouch got up and walked to class like nothing happened. When Rivalz and him walked inside the classroom, they say in their assigned seats that were posted on the board. Lelouch was really far away from Rivalz and he felt angry about it. Rivalz even though he talked a lot was fun to be around, and who knows who would seat next to him. It could be a total weirdo for all he knows. The teacher walked in and class begun, taking attendance of everyone in the room he then screamed a familiar name, "Suzaku! Are you here today?"

Lelouch felt ticked that animal was suppose to be in his class, this is what he feared most. Before anyone could let out a peep the back door of the classroom slammed open. In walked a familiar male with brown curly hair, lelouch avoided eye contact and looked out the window. Suzaku grabbed a nearby seat and sat. The teacher now looked extremely pissed, first he comes late and now he won't sit where he's suppose to sit. "Mr. KURURUGI! I will advise you to take your corresponding seat over there next to Mr. Lamperouge! OR I WILL SEND YOU TO DETENTION AGAIN!"

Suzaku looked up and tsked without a care and got up throwing himself in the seat next to Lelouch. Lelouch tensed up and was furious. He was going to have to sit next to that brute for the rest of the semester. He looked away but could feel eyes burning his every movement. The teacher continued class, until the class bell rung and lunch period was next. Lelouch looked over and noticed Suzaku was asleep, he actually looked pretty cute when asleep. Lelouch realised his words and shook his head, what was he thinking saying that in his head. That boy threw him to a wall that morning he wasn't human. Rivalz came over to lelouch and got his lunch out, they both ate together while talking about how boring the lecture was. Suddenly Rivalz shouted, "Lelouch you should be our Vice President!"

"Why vice?"

"Because Milly is president and she's amazing at it."

"Oh I see but... I deny"

Just then lelouch felt a wack in the back of his head and a girlish laugh.

"MILLY!" Rivalz yelled.

"GUTSSSSS!" She responded back.

Lelouch was confused where did she come out of?

"You young sir! Are the new Vice President!"

"Wha-"

"Meet us in the student council room today after school, bye"

Lelouch was about to get up to protest but she was gone before he knew. He sunk back into his seat and sighed, what mess was he more in now... "Congrats Lelouch!"

"Rivalz this isn't good! Student council work is hard and exhausting ugh"

"Come on Lelouch don't be so negative"

Lelouch was about to speak again when someone next to him growled, "SHUT UP YOU'RE TOO LOUD!"

Both boys froze up at the sound of the voice and looked over, there Suzaku was lying on the desk staring at them with a crossed face. Rivalz sunk back into his seat, lelouch stayed up straight. "The classroom is for studying not for sleeping" lelouch said this while taking a bite of his food, suzaku got up from his seat slamming his hand on the desk, everyone in the room looked up at the noise. Lelouch still ate as Suzaku stood up, as lelouch expected Suzaku to strike he looked over to see why he wasn't. He heard Suzaku's stomach growl loudly, Suzaku stared down at him with a blush across his face, lelouch could see that as his bangs covered his face. Lelouch handed him a package of sweet bread, "Here you're hungry."

"I don't need your kindness"

Suzaku walked away snatching the sweet bread from lelouch and left the classroom slamming the door behind him. Suzaku never returned to class for the rest of the day, lelouch didn't care but he couldn't help but think about him. Before class ended the teacher announced a new assignment, "Class this year we want you all to work on a report together with someone else in the class, the person sitting next to you will be your partner for the rest of the year. Have a great day everyone" as the teacher finished his speech the bell rung and everyone started to head out. Lelouch was suppose to go to the student council room how he wished he could just go home to be with Nunnally. The meeting ended late, he met all the members and they were all fairly nice to him. He was glad Rivalz was there to talk to. As he put on his shoes he looked over and noticed how dark it got. Lelouch walked out and shivered it was going to get colder. Just then he heard a nearby scream and tensed up, was the school haunted or something? He peaked over the corner where the noise came from and there he saw someone familiar. It was Suzaku! Suzaku was playing with a cat, at this hour. Suzaku was rubbing his hand which might explain that the cat had bit or scratched him making him scream. Lelouch felt like he should leave before he was spotted but his body wouldn't move. Then he heard Suzaku speak, "Arthur I think you're the only one who I can really talk to here...Here want to try some of this sweet bread someone gave me." The cat meowed as suzaku pet his head and gave him some. Lelouch's face turned red he couldn't help but feel bad for Suzaku he looked so alone all the time, but why would he be violent and scary? Lelouch stepped back and let out a sigh, maybe there was more to Suzaku then he thought. Lelouch then heard the other male talk once again, "hmmm is something wrong arthur is someone nearby?" Lelouch tensed up and could feel his blood boil, he quickly ran away before Suzaku looked at where he was. Lelouch had seen something he wasn't suppose to see he thought as he ran.
