This is my first Romeo and Juliet Fanfiction. I hope it sounds good. It takes place at the end, right after Romeo dies.

Juliet stared at her dead beloved, and sucked in a deep breath of air, rebel tears were fighting their way out of her eyes. She was confused, yet so sure that this was their only option. She reluctantly looked around the room, trying hard to take her eyes off her Romeo. Candles were everywhere, almost blinding. She got off the death bed that was once reserved for her and didn't seem to notice the dagger that was kicked off the bed by her foot. She walked throughout the room admiring all the knickknacks and various smells that emitted from the sun-like candles. She looked at her lover again, it was so strange that a few minutes ago his body was warm and full of life... Now he was deceased and she would never get to see him again...

" Unless." she whispered, she didn't say any more as she picked up a white candle and stared at it, deeply in thought, " They'll never know how much I truly loved him, they'll never care. But they'll be full of guilt... The way that they should be. A great candle, So beautiful... So strong." she looked back at Romeo and then walked to him, stopping when she saw a cup of liquid potpourri. She breathed in the essence of it, Lavender. She sat upon the bed, laying her arm on Romeo's chest and he head on the crook of his neck. She poured the liquid potpourri on top of her and Romeo, then sighed as she started to talk once more,

" May the gods have mercy on me... Burning down a church..." she was interrupted when she heard the front church doors open, in walked the Friar.

" Juliet?" He asked, then he realized what had happened and what she was about to do, he ran up to her as fast as he could, but as he was half way, the last tear fell from her eye and she dropped the candle, the Friar gasped at the sight, the two bodies ablaze, but he did not stop and observe, he ran to Juliet's side of the bed, and without a moments hesitation he reached his hands into the flames, grabbed Juliet's shoulder and pulled her out of the flames. He batted away the flames and felt her neck, he heart was still beating but slowly. He looked up at the flames and knew that the church was gone, they would never be able to fix it, they wouldn't even be able to stop the flames that were now soaring way above the bed. He carefully picked up an unconscious Juliet and carried her out of the church.

" Juliet?" Asked a voice that sounded familiar. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around, it was her room, her mother, father, and nurse stood around her, staring at her, all had different looks. The nurses was of sympathy, she stood behind Mrs. Capulet and Mr. Capulet. Juliet's mother was there with annoyed look on her face, her hands on her hips. Juliet's father was closest to her, his face was bright red, and he was vary angry and embarrassed. "Juliet?" She asked again.

" Mother?" Juliet asked.

" Goodness, thank god your alright." She said, her tone changed, " But the church isn't, do you know how much were going to have to pay to get it fixed? Not to mention the fact that you burned down a church intentionally."

" Mom." Juliet whispered.

" And as soon as you get better, you and Paris are going to get wed." She said, Juliet looked out her bedroom window that she had stood on a few says ago, talking to her sweet Romeo.
