Future heir to a famous worldwide company and multibillionaire Naruto was attending a meeting with his advisors, or grandparents.
"You know what they want. Just do it and they'll be satisfied" replied an old yet young looking grandfather.
"Hah, don't they always want something? Whether it's this or last week's issue, they'll always want something. How can I ever fully satisfy them?" Scoffed a young blond.
"Naruto, don't be stupid. Do as your told, you know this company's future lies in your bare hands. Once it's passed on to you I won't be able to help you anymore." Growled the grandfather while glaring at his grandson and future heir.
"Well who even said I wished to be the next oh, so might heir? I never asked for this! You don't understand me or know what I want." barked Naruto.
"Enough! You will inherit this company and its fortune whether you want to or not, and that's final…I hope you know I'm doing this for your own good." Roared kurama realizing he had slammed his fists on the table a little too hard. "Understood?"
"…Understood…" Naruto as always avoided eye contact and sunk his head in defeat. His life was jam-packed with constant fighting and arguing. Always being obligated to do things he never wanted to. All the endless studies, not ever being able to go outside and play with the other kids as a child.
Most of the times his parents were on business trips while his grandfather took care of him. He wasn't always like that either there were times when he laughed so hard he would cry tears of joy. Naruto's dad too was a great and intelligent man. He always knew and thought ten steps ahead of everyone. His mom on the other hand was a bit clumsy at times, though wherever she went she seemed to brighten the scenery with her incandescent presence. Life was indeed good.
Then there was the accident that changed it all. That's when Kurama changed. No more laughter. No more smiles, hugs, jokes or tears of joy. In desperate need for a new heir, all the responsibility fell on both him and Naruto.
Naruto could no longer go out and play with the others, he had something scheduled every day, and if he ever fell behind he had to stay awake until everything was accomplished. By now, of course, he had been accustomed to his daily life. Though there was always something wrong with him. Naruto wasn't much like his father, besides the blond hair and blue eyes. He couldn't think even five steps ahead of the game. The only thing he had going for was never giving in to anything. And he wasn't going to let that dumb press think he wasn't capable of anything. Earlier that day they had announced how they wanted the future heir to gain the people's support by showing an "act of kindness". "Figure it out on your own" they said.
Fine.
To get some ideas to pop into his head Naruto decided to take a walk under the night sky. All in secret of course. Those guards were so bothersome and pesky. As Naruto walked into a quiet side of town he noticed some yelling. A man slammed the door open and out came a dark blue figure. She had been thrown out and pushed to the dirty ground. She then stood on the cold floor for a few seconds before getting up and covering her beautiful hair with the hood of her long coat that split in the middle. When she turned around for the first time she noticed Naruto and as soon as she laid her eyes on him she froze.
"Hey…are you okay?" he asked with a hand behind his back… a habit of his.
The female didn't respond in words, she only nodded. As Naruto began to walk toward her she split into a run. Surprised he ran after her. The dark haired female turned at every corner not really knowing where she was going. As she ran her coat whirled like a cape in the winter cold air while the breeze blew against her soft cheeks. She breathed in and out leaving steam in the air. She ran and ran until she ended up in a dead end, nowhere left to go. The coated figure tried to turn around and leave but it was too late, Naruto was already within her sight.
"You…who are you?" She yelled as he approached her. Out of air and desperate she looked for an exit, anything. She wasn't going back. Not now.
"Hey, hah…hah…just…relax. Why are…you running anyways? He gasped out. Already a few feet closer to her.
"Aren't you here to drag me back?" she questioned with curiosity, the others didn't bother to ask about her condition.
"What are you talking about? I just wanted to see if you're okay…Idiot." He looked up and for the first time their eyes met. His blue eyes sparkled with the shining moon while hers were glowing within the darkness of the shadows. A breeze blew in and caused her hood to completely fall revealing her dark straight hair that was now twirling and flying in the air and her small face. She was breathtaking; and he was paralyzed. Slowly he broke from her trance. "Come with me. You don't have a home do you? I mean, judging by the way you're dressed…" he suggested looking her up and down. Her long coat was very thin, and her cheeks were colored pink from the cold.
"I don't need a home right now. I must hurry." She spoke with determination in her eyes and urgency in her voice.
"Come on now. Don't be so stubborn." Naruto said while rolling his eyes.
"Well then if that's all you need I'll be on my way… please don't follow me this time." She instructed. As she walked by the blond he took a hold of her arm. "If you sleep out here in the freezing cold, you'll die. You know that right?" He stared at her with a serious expression. She began to prepare a comeback when her surroundings suddenly began to spin and her vision became blurry. She only opened her eyes one last time and the last thing she saw was Naruto's blurry concerned face. Then she began to fall.
He had barely managed to catch her before she hit the hard frozen earth. The female appeared to be running a temperature that is based on her hot forehead. "Honestly…" Naruto sighed. He took out his expensive looking phone and dialed for one of his limos to come pick him up. While the limo arrived Naruto took of his warm coat and covered the fevered female. She never told me her name.
